Topic of the Week: Parades & Shows (thanks to CP85) What is your favorite location for watching (or photographing - Indy) Wishes?

Transportation and Ticket Center Ferry Dock. You still get the music for the show there. Not many people go there to watch it at that spot. And you get to see the real size of the pyro bursts. Think anyone who was at the Meet-Up would agree on that. Plus if you're staying at a non MK resort, the busses are right across the plaza. Monorail to the MK resorts are a skip away, or you could walk to the Poly from there. No fighting the exit rush after the fireworks. You're back to your hotel before those poor people in the Hub have even made it out of the park! - IndyandMarion  1236.6 #1 8:03AM
I'm thinking we might need to try this. Anything to avoid the mad rush to the exit/buses! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  801.3 #3 4:34PM
The past few trips have been from my balcony at blt, it feels like our own private showing , no crowds it's fantastic:) - tracsant  912.3 #2 4:43AM
Good morning ! I like right in the circle at the castle stage area - mmddgp  374.7 #18 4:43AM
As far as visually, nothing beats Main St or the Hub, but whoa, can that area get crrrrrrrrowded! I hope I can gather ideas from this post on a new spot to try. - mrsincredible  768.9 #6 5:05AM
The trick is to find a good spot for Wishes that is also a good spot for MSEP!! :) - mrsincredible  768.9 #6 5:49AM
I think we watched from Fantasyland once - not crowded. But you miss what's going on in front. Can't beat the Hub or Main Street. - goofygal  6139.3 #11 6:10AM
Parades we watch from Main Street curb, usually infront of Casey's Corner. We've watched Wishes from the Hub, and in the back by the Liberty Square Riverboat. And the fireworks from there are so amazing! - JessiBelle22  78.4 #70 6:17AM
That's usually where we sit too - mmddgp  374.7 #18 8:43AM
Main street. I stand by the train area also - 5disneylovers  774.0 #5 6:38AM
We always watch the fireworks from behind the castle. It's never crowded and we always have somewhere to sit. The only thing we miss is Tinkerbell. - leveretttltl  34.0 #117 6:54AM
We tried that once and it was just so loud - mmddgp  374.7 #18 8:39AM
Best place by far in MK is at the train station...you CAN NOT beat that spot...you're above the crowd and its perfect for pics of parade and fireworks*+.*+.*+. - CinderellaPrincess85  194.6 #36 9:22AM
Too bad that flag pole ruins the photos. Seriously. Maybe it's me, but when it was in front of City Hall during the holidays when the Christmas tree was up, it just seemed to fit much better over there. - IndyandMarion  1236.6 #1 10:36AM
That's a pretty small area. Is it hard to get a good spot? - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  801.3 #3 4:36PM
Actually with zoom and correct techniques the pole is hardly an issue...CDKG, it's up in the train station, yeah the area is small...get there about 2-3 hours early to have a bench or table...it really is a fantastic spot. I like it more than being infront of the castle and you know that's saying something LOL - CinderellaPrincess85  194.6 #36 5:05PM
