I have been trying to decide if I want to get the photopass, is it really worth it?? And if you have got it before do you still bring your own camera with you? I just can't decide due to the cost... (sorry if this ended up in some peoples comments my ipod went crazy trying to post this!)
Oh don't get me wrong, the photopass teams are horribly trained. 90% of the photos will turn out as garbage. But hey it's you're free choice to use it. - IndyandMarion

Is this something new you have to pay for it up front? We take our cameras and we use photo pass then when we come home we decide if there are any that we want. There almost always is a discount of some sort when I get home. - mmddgp

We always get the photopass CD-ROM and take our own camera also. We have never had a bad experience. - Ariel42

We split the pass with my brother in laws family and we took tons of pics but sometimes we had to force the photographers to snap away. Like Indy said, look into this a bit! I actually enjoy taking my own photos and am not limited to photopass spots. A DSLR camera is a good investment if you like taking good quality pics yourself. - Jalex239

I appreciate it, I will try what Indy says since I finally understand it lol, even though I have a hard time searching for things sometimes ( me and comp arent the greatest of friends!) We do both Photopass and our own camera. In the past I’ve bought a few of the pictures, but this last time, I made a calendar through Photopass. What’s great is that you can upload your pictures as well to be included in the calendar. - TheGrumpies

If we get decide to go with the photopass we buy it before our trip and get the discount. Then we get as many pics as possible. Last trip (after editing) we had over 1,000) photos. What will we do with 1,000 photos you ask? I have no idea, but we wanted to get our money's worth. There is a way to download the photos for "free" if you search the Internet. - toogrumpy
