Hey everyone! I haven't been on in a while, just been busy. I was wondering, are park hopper tickets worth the expense? We will be there are 8 days, if that helps with your answer.
Have you ever been to WDW? I think you should always try it at least once. But 8 days is good for passing on the park hopper ... If you don't really want the extra expense. - JessiBelle22

We do park hopper so we can go to one park in the morning then back to the hotel to rest then another one later - jeri814

We get the hopper because we want to know we have flexibility. But honestly we never use it. Are days are planed so whatever park were in we stay there all day - Schramke

We have done both ways. If you are staying on property and have 8 day passes you really don't need park hoppers. It will be your honeymoon and you may want some down time also. We always stay at least 8 days and we get the magic your way with the fun and more for at least 5 days that way you will have 5 days in parks and you will 5 fun options(water parks, Disney quest, putt putt, wide world of sports) utilize the extra magic hours if you are staying on property - mmddgp

You may want to consider the hopper option just in case you want to mix in some dining at one park and attractions at another. It's always nice to have the ability to go to 2 parks in one day. We always get tired mid day and return after a break. That way, you can mix it up! - Jalex239

I think it depends on you. I never park hop...but I have small kids so to me it's a hassle. When they are older, maybe I'll try again. For my family it's an extra $300. I rather buy souvenirs. - BodinFabFive

Its what we get everytime and we always love them. You can go to any park in the same day without it counting as more than one day. Its nice to have that kind of flexibility. - batesjake

I'm in the minority. I save the extra $$ to spend in the shops, nothing like Disney shopping! Since you can easily spend an entire day at any given park, we just go to one each day. Our next trip is 8 days: 3 days at MK, 1 day at HS, 1 day at AK, 2 days at EPCOT and we are doing 1 day's worth of activities at AKL and minigolf. - DizneyGirl

We bought the park hopper for the first time for this next trip. We bought it because we are going to have a "greatest hits day" where we won't have anything scheduled and we can go around and pick our favorites to re-visit. Also a couple days we wanted to go to one park in the morning and then to another park for EMH in the evening. I think it just depends on what you want to see and do on your trip. :) - BagGal

I love the freedom park hoppers provide, so for me, it's definitely worth it! I know it's hard to decide when you have yet to experience WDW. But, try to think about how you like to plan your days to determine if it would be worth the expense for you. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad

We have done both and definitely think the hoppers are worth it. It is really nice to know that if you get to a park and it is too crowded you can jump on the bus and go to another that is less crowded. - poohbr1205

I was thinking of eliminating the hopper option because we never use it. But we kept it for the security of its there if we want to use it. - MagicalFamily
