Question time! What do you do on the first day you arrive at Disney world? My parents and I always go to Downtown Disney and eat dinner there. :)

We usually make reservations to a restaurant that's at a resort. Last time, we went to 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian. Loved the food! - LinaBelle

Ditto! Our flight doesn't arrive until early evening. So, after checking into our resort we head to DTD for dinner (usually WPE, my favorite!) Then we wander around for a while (hit the Christmas store, grab a sample at Ghirardelli, wander the World of Disney) before heading back to our resort for a good nights sleep. We usually are not arriving till later and we do just go DTD for dinner and walk around for a bit but this year we arrive at 11 so we are not even going to see our room till later we are going straight to Epcot and we have dinner at garden grill the kids are going to love it - mmddgp

We usually visit the park that is open late...this year we will be getting there in the morning...we plan to unpack, have lunch by the pool...later that night visit mk watch the electrical parade and fireworks... - islandgirl58

I usually go in Nov. or Dec. so I go to MVMCP. That way I don't have to use a day of my park tickets. And since you can go in at 4:00, I like doing this. - totfav
