the post disturbs me because there are many new MWers that aren't aware of the huge fiasco last year that was caused by one of the people in this family photo. I'm not one to make waves. I'm a positive person since I've been a member of this app. I feel almost obligated to let people know that one of these people was BANNED by admin after making rude, homophobic and offensive comments! In addition, he spammed the lounge with incessant posts of trinkets and collectibles that buried all of the quality content. 2 of the other adults in the photo allegedly left on their own vowing to never show their faces after they deleted all their posts and comments! Deservedly, one of these people was banned and has now reappeared! I find it hard to believe that anyone in that household lived under a rock to not know what took place last year in this very lounge as a direct result of one of these people who are BANNED! I wonder if admin will be interested to see the person who said rude and hurtful things to a specific MWer who is #1 overall in rank on this lounge. I wonder if the anonymity of a mobile device can hide who really types away. Again, I'm not known to be negative and I don't mean to sound as such but please all MWers, beware of trolls and people who aren't who they say they are. - @cp85, here's the comment I copied and re posted. I've blocked that user named Fairygodmother just so everyone knows!
I'm sorry about sounding so negative. It's not like me at all but those of you who've been around know what Uppityempress and others went through as a result of this person and his family. Several hideous comments were made that stirred up a nasty uproar on this lounge. Thanks to all who support my comment. I just don't want to see nice people hurt again since many of us are new to this it's easy to be fooled when a troll appears and rears it's ugly head! - Jalex239

Thank you so much for this! People have a right to know what they did and how they so badly hurt Uppity. They also have the right to know our lounge is once again in harm of being trolled. Jalex you have a way with words. I was here for two of the not-so-friendly people and I am in total agreement with you. This country was founded on the principle of freedom.....freedom to be who & what you are without fear anything. Its a work in progress at times due to uninformed & sometimes ignorant views. People are allowed to have their views of course but not allowed to preach it on MW. I miss Uppity every time I come on MW and am so sorry that the words of a some people were hurtful enough to "take a break" from MW. Well, that's my.take so I'll get off my soapbox now. This is VERY sad coming from my "happy" place. I just want to get this right. FGM and Captain something did and said some horrible things in the past and the new MW need to stray from them? Its just these two people right? I dont want to support anything that hurts others and there are so many nice people in here. I LOVE this place and i dont want it to fall apart! I have heard great things about uppitty when i first joined here almost a year ago. I wish i could get the chance to get to know such a great person. Thanks Jalex, the people in this lounge have come and gone, mostly the bad ones but because of them some of the good ones as well, CDKG said its important we let the new people know about what happend to prevent what happend in the past. I appreciate that you are looking out for the integrity of this app and more importantly the feelings of others who were hurt and consequently left because of someone being quite un-Disney. I remember all of this going down (as an observer not a poster- now I finally joined as a poster) and it made me so sad that people come to a place like this and lie and put people down to make themselves feel better. Thank you for the information. I read through all these posts on this feed and I am kind of sad to see how this is tearing our little family apart. None of this information was meant to hurt or be mean it was meant to make sure others don't get hurt by a persons unkind words. I think we all need to remember that respect is vital in keeping this site a fun place to be. MW is about a mutual love of Disney not a place to feel judged. I personally try to stay as positive as possible in my life and appreciate a heads up to avoid someone who isn't positive.
