what is everybody's secret on keeping off weight while in disney world when you have the dining plan or not. I am very careful when it comes to gaining weight. does anyone have any tips or secrets. I know you go to disney world to enjoy and eat whatever you want but it's the after weight that it's hard to lose.

I always lose weight while there if eating a ton , all the walkin makes up for it . - kerielizibeth  10.5 #248 2:32PM
I watch what I eat during the planning stage so I can go hog wild once I get there!  :) - mrsincredible  1317.8 #4 2:42PM
That's what I try to do. watch I eat while I'm here but sometimes it's difficult when you're out working all day. All there is is fast food and have no time to stop and eat a actual meal. - yessy  233.5 #39 2:50PM
I hear ya, I typed that as I was stuffing my face with cheese crackers, haha!! There's always tomorrow, right?! ;) - mrsincredible  1317.8 #4 2:51PM
I stick on eating chicken wraps and fruit smoothie. I'm trying to lose 5 pounds I'm 125 but my goal is to be 120. - yessy  233.5 #39 2:52PM
That's what I always say there's always tomorrow but it doesn't work. Especially when my hubby loves to eat out I'm actually on my way to pick up some chinese food lol - yessy  233.5 #39 2:53PM
LOL, that's hilarious!! We do the same thing. Hubs and I are no good for each other when it comes to sticking to a strict calorie intake!! Mmmmm, Chinese food... might have to call the hubs for take out!! ;) - mrsincredible  1317.8 #4 2:55PM
Always seem to burn it off when we're there ! Must be all the walking !!! - skcanfield  585.2 #13 2:48PM
I don't seem to have a problem with gaining, like everyone said, must be all that walking! - DizneyGirl  968.0 #8 2:53PM
I'm very conscious on vaca too. I'm on weight watchers and really try to stay on plan. Eat breakfast and lunch and a lighter dinner. If you book dinning try and make dinner res earlier. The activity is not a problem all that walking helps. I will also try to fit in an early or late swim. I opt for healthier deserts or share one. Drink lots of water watch the soda and alcoholic in excess. I usually maintain or loose if I stay on track. Good luck but enjoy - mmddgp  1064.3 #7 2:55PM
I'm doing weight watchers, too!! - mrsincredible  1317.8 #4 2:57PM
And, I use the term 'doing' loosely, lol. I haven't been focused today for some reason. - mrsincredible  1317.8 #4 2:58PM
Thanks for your tip. I'm doing the deluxe plan like mrsincredible. So i gotta make health choices when i order also on deserts. I drink flavored seltzer water specially lemon tastes like sprite and its 0 calories ill stay of soda while I'm there. - yessy  233.5 #39 3:02PM
That deluxe plan is gonna SO do me in. Alright... that's it *taping mouth shut* NO MORE FOOD UNTIL NOV 29!!!! LOL - mrsincredible  1317.8 #4 3:05PM
I have calorie tracking app installed on my phone. I also stick to the vegetarian selections. Plus it doesn't hurt that I only require one good sized meal a day. - Lelundrial  711.3 #283 2:58PM
You're an inspiration, I need to convince my brain and my stomach of that, and I'd be doing alot better, ha! - mrsincredible  1317.8 #4 3:02PM
I agree with mrsincredible. I'm going to do a very light breakfast a hardcore lunch and a tiny dinner. Lol - yessy  233.5 #39 3:09PM
Don't forget to use you 49 xtra points. My problem is when I get home I go into depression eating😞 - mmddgp  1064.3 #7 3:10PM
Yeah, and I must have the before version, countdown depression eating, haha!! - mrsincredible  1317.8 #4 3:25PM
Also, try to restrict bread and those lovely drinks. I know I am a sucker for a drink with a glowing ice cube. - Lelundrial  711.3 #283 3:54PM
Lose 10-20 lbs before the trip so you will be at the weight you want when you get back. Your on vacation, enjoy the food. - Disneymba  39.3 #5403 3:44PM
Yessy - haha, you're not gonna believe this... Hubs just called and said, "Let's go for Mexican tonight!". LOL, he's killin' me!! - mrsincredible  1317.8 #4 3:49PM
Black brans are healthier than refried. Also that stuff has a lot of sodium. Drink plenty of water. - Lelundrial  711.3 #283 3:57PM
Omg there no help. - yessy  233.5 #39 4:00PM
LOL!! - mrsincredible  1317.8 #4 4:01PM
* beans, dang auto correct. - Lelundrial  711.3 #283 3:58PM
All the walking makes up for it! We wore a pedometer on our last trip and walked up to 7 miles a day! This and dealing with the heat justifies the gluttony! 😉 - Disneyaddict  374.7 #624 4:22PM
I don't usually have a problem either. The walking really does help make up for the extra calories! It will be a challenge with the deluxe DP, but skipping a meal in favor of a snack when you're not very hungry & taking about half of your meal to go for another day's meal helps a lot too. I don't worry too much about what I eat (I'm already vegetarian) it's the amount that counts! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1450.4 #3 4:28PM
True. Thanks for the tips. Sometimes I wish i was I vegetarian but can't live without my meats. - yessy  233.5 #39 4:42PM
For me with the time change, heat, walking, running after kids, swimming, laughing and smiling it should burn off any junk and even out! I only get dole whips for myself and my kids are small were dad and I can taste or finish some of their treats. - cheekymouse  34.9 #133 4:48PM
I try to lose 3-4 lbs ahead of time so that I can eat what I want there. Plus all the walking helps. On our last trip, I wore a pedometer and we walked 8-10 miles a day. - ally  509.0 #18 4:50PM
I've heard 7 miles is pretty normal. I always wanted to keep track, but the program on my phone would run it down and then the phone would die, UGH! Thanks for the info, I'm glad someone has kept track! - DizneyGirl  968.0 #8 5:18PM
THANKS everyone for your helpful comments. I'm glad i have you guys to help.XoXo. - yessy  233.5 #39 5:24PM
As everyone said,u lose weight w/all of the walking...we eat like absolute pigs when we go there and we somehow still manage to lose weight. I think it's def the walking and the sweating from the heat, etc. Try to do Epcot as much as possible actually. Those countries are great when it comes to walking a lot! Omg..lol - mickeynme  178.1 #52 5:25PM
I will thanks! - yessy  233.5 #39 5:39PM
Sure! :) - mickeynme  178.1 #52 5:41PM

MouseWait COUNTDOWN for iOS is here! Countdown the days to your next Disneyland or Disney World trip with our images OR your pics! Your Countdown also displays on Apple Watch and is beautiful on iPhone 6 screens. Secure the discounted launch price for a limited time.

So from the looks of it, there is not even one app made for those of us on android. You know there are millions of people who do not own iPhones. Its kind of rediculous these days not to offer an android version of apps. Would love to help this site grow by donating, but I see no point in that when there appears to be no intrest by the app builders here to support android. I mean how about atleast a partialy functional app so we can feel that the android users are even wanted as a part of the mousewait community. I see lots of requests and sad posts about no android, but dont see any replys by the site to the fact that anyone is even working on it.I've checked back here every so offten to see if there is anything for android users, but never bothered joining until today.I just wanted to rant a little, and now I am done.Unfortunalty, at this point I think I am officaily giving up on mousewait. Thanks for reading  and understanding my frustrations ( i hope ) and please everyone........Have a Disney-tastic day!Mark - molney14u  0.1 #105863 11:05AM
I have an iPhone and an old droid. I use the old droid for wait times when my iPhone can't connect and it works fine. There's so many droid phones to have  separate apps for but I hope android makers would start using the basic same code and security but I'm probably wishing on a star for that . I miss my droid but a lot of apps don't work the same.  - secretagentangel  6439.4 #20 8:10PM
I have the countdown and I love it! - tree320  0.6 #0 9:26AM
Doesn't everyone have a countdown clock on the top of one of their pinball machines?  Unfortunately mine is blank because our DL trip was weeks ago :( - awhittle  0.0 #127504 10:15AM
