What everyone failed to mention is the guest assistance card from guest relations. (which is typically how people with wheelchairs are allowed to bypass the standby and go into the fastpass line as some people have stated). Let the GR person know your situation and they will make the decision on which card to give you. Some lines are actually shorter if your in a wheel chair just depends on where the cut off is , my grandmother uses a scooter and it definantly has perks !! :) - kerielizibeth  10.5 #196 3:07PM

I have knee issues & use a scooter. Much easier than a manual wheelchair I think. Only thing is it can get a bit pricey. I rent a scooter from Care Medical. They deliver to your hotel & it's yours for however long you want it. They charge by the day. And you can take them on the resort buses. Or the parks have scooters too but they are for in-park use only. And sometimes the lines are shorter if CM's see that you are at a disadvantage. Not all the time though.
