want to plan a November 2013 trip to WDW. I love that I can book at 499 days and pay it off a little at a time, but on the other hand, I worry though about planning that far in advance....what if something happens and we have to cancel? Do we lose the money? How does this all work?? Thanks for any and all advice you can offer! ~Nicole

You can cancel anytime 45 days out or more and get 100% of your money back.  After that you lose $200 and I am not certain, but think 15 days out (or less) you get no refund?  The insurance just isn't worth it with a cancelation policy like that.  If you have something out of your control come up in the last 15 days I'm pretty sure you can change the dates. - DizneyGirl  354.3 #9 8:12PM
Disney travel offers an insurance option for your trip that will refund the amount paid on flights, hotel, park tickets, etc. obviously it does not cover the cost of the insurance. You can also buy travel insurance from most insurance companies. The cost depends on the cost of your trip. - BlueberryCrusader  650.7 #161 11:13PM
