Does the movement of the seat in Soarin' go up quickly? Do you feel secure in the seat with your feet dangling? We're trying to decide if it would be too much for our 6-year-old daughter. No one in our family has ridden it. Thanks!!
They have a strap that goes between little kids legs so they can't fall out. I think she will be fine(: - amandapanda3

We went around 1pm and the fast passes were gone! We waited in line during magic hours and it still took us over an hour. Good idea to hit this place first for at leAst a FP. - Disneyaddict

I felt very secure. The seats kind of tilt backward too so it doesn't feel like you'll fall fwd and out. It goes up abrubtly but not scary even for a 6 yr old. - Polynesiangirl

Not scary at all! Its really fun! In the introduction video they explain that there is an additional loop you put the seat-belt through if they are little. There is one lift in the begining and that is it; its not that fast. Try watching a video on youtube if you want to know more. - samndawn67

I felt like the seats went up at a moderate rate of speed. If you are worried about being high, sit in the back row, it'll be just a little off the ground. Our 5 year old (4 1/2 at that time) was a little nervous, but in the end she was fine. And as far as secure, you are def secure! - DizneyGirl

I think it goes up kind of fast but once your up, the movement is minimal. My kids love it. The only thing is at the end there is a very loud noise and that scared mine for a second. Now they know, they still love it. - BodinFabFive

My daughter did it when she was 5 and she really liked it. I told her its just like dumbo ride goes up but it has diff seat and shows a movie, then she was fine about trying it out. - cheekymouse

It's nothing like a coaster. The first movement is fast but not bad at all. My 6 year old loves it and she is scared of the"big" rides. Your daughter will be fine. - Disneyaddict

It's very smooth and if she gets nervous on it tell her to look to the sides and she can see that she's really not that high up. But I bet she loves it :) - MrsaHoltgraves
