Hubs and I saw it last night in 3D without the kids, and he said he was glad Jonah (5) wasn't there, and that we'll wait to let him see it until it comes out on DVD to watch at home vs in a dark, loud theater in 3D. There is a pretty intense bear fight towards the end, but you know your kids best. If they get scared easy, you might skip it, or just prepare them or have them cover their eyes during the scary parts. It was very, very good though!! - mrsincredible  404.5 #5 12:24PM

Depends on the child. I saw once where this guy was angry saying that Wall-E scared his daughter. My son was 2 and half when Dead Man's Chest came out and he was fine. - Lelundrial  341.4 #429 12:53PM

My 6-year-old daughter was fine and she is easily scared. (Don't tell her I said so.) she covered her eyes a couple times and she was fine. She did say she was glad we didn't see it in 3D though. She thought that would have made it scarier. - BagGal  150.4 #40 1:49PM

We didn't see it in 3d and my daughter is 6. She did say it was loud on the part everyone is talking about but the mood lightens quickly and she was fine. But in 3d she may have been freaked out. - cheekymouse  34.9 #91 3:58PM
