Finally just booked our WDW vacation! I've never been to the world before...just MANY times to the land. We are staying at the caribbean beach resort with a dining plan and reservations at chef mickeys for dinner. Any other must dos or experiences not to miss? I'm super excited ...50 days and counting

Is the caribbean beach resort good? I liked the pics so thats why we are booked there - dhBelle04  284.2 #1024 7:26PM
I stayed there on my first trip to WDW, and it wasn't my favorite. Out of the moderate resorts, I love POFQ! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1397.0 #3 7:27PM
I really enjoy it. I've stayed there about 3 times and it's been very relaxing. I tried to book it for my November trip but we had to scale back and stay at a value resort. You'll enjoy it. - codiejoeCM  184.0 #49 7:29PM
Ahh, how exciting! Sounds like you got great reservations planned! Make sure to take tons of pictures!(: - MeganAnn  49.3 #106 6:26PM
Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue for sure! It takes two dining credits but you won't be dissapointed. I would also go to 50's Prime Time Cafe. It's definitely entertaining and creates great memories! Have fun! - codiejoeCM  184.0 #49 6:30PM
I've heard the dinner shows weren't worth it. I wanted to do one though...what is hoop-dee-doo? - dhBelle04  284.2 #1024 6:33PM
I go to Hoop-Dee-Doo every visit. It's very entertaining and gets the guests interacted. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. A comedy rustic wilderness dinner/show. You'll be sore from laughing so hard. I highly recommend it friend. :) - codiejoeCM  184.0 #49 6:36PM
The shows good ,food is just okay . - skcanfield  563.4 #15 6:43PM
It is a fun show! But let me just say...it's expensive and definitely not vegetarian friendly! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1397.0 #3 6:45PM
We really enjoyed the Hoop Dee Do and we love Chef Mickeys!!! - BodinFabFive  26.3 #147 6:46PM
Yeah, it is expensive. If you have the dining plan though you'll be fine. Like I said though it'll use two credits for Category 2. - codiejoeCM  184.0 #49 7:05PM
You got to see Illuminations at Epcot !!!!! - skcanfield  563.4 #15 6:46PM
WDW for the first time can be overwhelming! Since you're a DL expert, my best piece of advice is not to get hung up on comparing the two. WDW is amazing! Appreciate it for what it is! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1397.0 #3 6:47PM
We stayed at the Caribbean Beach in March. We ate just about everything they offer in the food court and the best thing was the salmon believe it not! (if you like salmon!) Also, be sure to request a room nearest to the Port area, it is a LONG walk from some rooms to get there for food, drinks, and main pool area! The property is gorgeous. - iwannaBAprincess  14.2 #8863 7:30PM
Our favorite thing from our two trips was the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. I am told that the reservations for it open up about 30-60 days out. Not sure if that is correct, but it was about that when we got ours. It fills up fast cuz they only have room for 50 or so people. But it was an AMAZING experience! - poohbr1205  21.2 #167 7:08AM
