I will be there the 10th through the 17th! Where r u saying? We are staying at bay lake tower as for crowds the beginning of your trip will probably be kind of crowded but half way through most people from southern states school starts so they leave and it's less crowded, last time we went in August it was super crowded for most of our trip and then halfway through everyone disappeared. I went there during the week of the 14th, and yes crazy hot. The crowds didn't seem to bad to me. It of course was no where near as light as the first week of December. The only ridiculous long wait time I remember was for Toy Story Mania. Some others had longer wait times then I care for; I prefer my times under 20 minutes. However, the lines seemed to move pretty good. Dinosaur and Goofy's Barnstormer are the ones I remember having a long wait in which I actually stayed in line. - Lelundrial  341.3 #429 8:37PM

We always go in Aug except this yr. It's crowded but Parks are open late every day usually mk opened til 3 a few times a wk. We get to a park in the AM then take a break in the pool/resort/lunch around 1. Then hit the Parks again around 4 or have an early dinner. The parks r less crowded in the late afternoon/evening. I've gone in Aug. since 2003. Crowds are not too crazy but there are crowds definitely less than spring break or Christmas. Humidity is unbelievable but thst is FL for you in Aug. you just have to deal with what Mother Nature throws your way. I went last August... I'm sorry but I HATED it.. By the time I got ready to go out as soon as I stepped outside It would pour and it would continue to rain all day. it sucks cause it limited our activities! And when it DIDNT rain.. It was unbearably HOT! I remember sitting on the ferry taking me from Hollywood studio to the boardwalk, and just sitting there I felt a pool of sweat coming out of my pours creating a pool around me!!☀☀☀☀ - Boardwalkgirl  37.3 #83 9:25AM
