This is the weather forecast expected during our trip to WDW. 😱 We r coming from CA and don't really know how to deal with this kind of weather. Any tips to do the parks in this kind of weather would be appreciated. Also, I would think the water parks r closed during thunderstorms?

There's a chance of storms everyday in Florida . The good part is it may storm for an hour and 10 mins later look like it never rained !!!! So don't let the forcast shake you !! Besides that it changes daily . Also there's plenty of inside things to do !!!! - skcanfield  467.9 #12 8:31AM
Thanks. The one time we went it only rained twice for about 30 mins. Got nervous because it is 60% precipitation. Plus we got the water park added on to our tickets also and would like to use them. I will try to relax. Thanks so much! - Disneyaddict  340.6 #600 8:36AM
Yeah , and the waterparks only shut down for lightening . - skcanfield  467.9 #12 8:40AM
For me the FL thunder storms aren't as big of an issue as the heat & humidity that go along with them! Please make sure everyone in your party stays well hydrated and take a break in the AC when needed. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  801.1 #3 8:37AM
I agree! I booked most of our table services Btwn 1-2 pm to give us a break from the heat! - Disneyaddict  340.6 #600 8:43AM
First mistake you made: Relying on a weather report for FL. Expect rain, deal with the sun. Look, here's the thing. FL weather just isn't something to listen to forecasts about. Case in point: 6/1/2012 Orlando forecast: Heavy Rain, with thunderstorms, all day. We got: Occasional heavy rain, with sun, storms ended by 4pm, no thunderstorms. Pack a poncho or an umbrella, wear sandals with enough support, enjoy the park. - IndyandMarion  1236.6 #1 9:02AM
Thanks. I know you know your stuff do I won't sweat the forecasts. Thanks for the tips. - Disneyaddict  340.6 #600 11:12AM
Indy knows his stuff! FYI, in our little corner of the world if the forecast says 40%, it just doesn't rain, now 60% and up, then it might. Just have a great time don't sweat the forecast. - DizneyGirl  546.4 #9 9:47AM
We had the same forcast when we were three two weeks ago, there were two rain showers that only last 30 min. and going to the waterparks on the overcast day was AWESOME we had absolutely no lines when we did that, it was awesome!!! - margustafson  16.6 #6771 9:51AM
I was thinking there wouldn't be lines. I was just worried about them closing. Thanks for the input! - Disneyaddict  340.6 #600 11:13AM
Plan down time or relaxing indoor attractions during the afternoons. - ally  506.0 #11 10:57AM
I'd recommend quick drying clothes from a camping store or similar. Especially for your feet and underwear. Something to wipe water off your glasses too. - Westcoast  121.4 #2981 11:32AM
Great tip! Exofficio offers lots of quick drying options. If you don't have a store near you, they have a website. I love their stuff! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  801.1 #3 12:04PM
Don't let the weather reports scare you!!! There are times it rains hard for 5 minutes then it's gone, just keep a poncho handy, and keep it going!!! - ginastuckey  35.6 #112 11:58AM
