Best place to learn surfing for beginners are in Waikiki...one thing I notice at the Aulani if you don't mind no waves/ripples just plane flat water that's the best place to learn...if you want little waves/ripples go to Waikiki beach...that's where I first learned how... - islandgirl58

They have a fun craft each day that is free, various night activities such as an outdoor movie, rainbow reef is a lot of fun, relax on the beach and swim in the pool, the menehune trail is a blast, eat shaved ice and Mickey's premium ice cream, the pool menu has great food, visit with the characters, and just have fun! Check out disboards to find some Aulani trip reports! - Andrea84
