It depends on when you in magic kingdom, that's normally the best time todo it, my little sister was 6(she's 7 now) when we did it in dl and she loved it! Everyone called her a princess, you little sister will defanitly love it! - nodell111

I don't think it matters. We did one of our daughter's (2007) the first day there and our other daughter's (2010) our first full day (1st day was only a 1/2 day). If she knows about it, it might be exciting to do it within the first few days, so she doesn't have to wait :) - DizneyGirl

Also, we bought my daughters outfit prior to our trip online in July, just had her wear it to the boutique. We saved about $100 and no one was the wiser. Enjoy ! - shewsluvwdw

We do it right before akershush and this year we are doing it before CRT at the castle. Make ressies they fill up quick at the castle 407-wdwstyle is the number. Also the Disney store has better and cheaper costumes! Enjoy! - girlonfire

It is about 250 for dress and everything else. If u purchase the dress it is 58 for the hair,nails,sash,and makeup. U save alot. - yessy

Just an FYI my daughter said every dress was itchy but princess and the frog dress. And my daughters hair stayed like that for two days it even made it threw a few hours of swimming. - cheekymouse
