What are everyone's thoughts on carribean beach? I want to stay in the pirate rooms if we can afford it!!
I like that it has more of a tropical vacation feel. It's spread out and has grounds with beaches, grass, rivers and trees. Instead of everything being cramped and stacked on top of each other. Try to get a room closer to the food court though for convienence. - Westcoast

I think I am going to give up the pirate room for convenience and stay near the main building. It just isn't worth the hassel with the kiddos. - mrsincredible

My godmother stayed there with her 2 teen girls. They liked it, for the mom she said too many noisy kids lol - Polynesiangirl

We are so excited to stay in one of the pirate rooms in late Nov!! My friend said she has stayed at that resort many times and loves that each "village" has their own bus stop, as opposed to staying in a value resort and having to walk so far to your room/bus stop everytime you go some where. - mrsincredible

Caribbean is so much fun!!! Its upbeat and fun and, yes, has the BEST food court! The pirate rooms are fun and have plenty of room. There are double sinks and lots of places for storage. Plus there is a mini fridge so you can bring your own food and drinks. It is such a fun resort. The pool and slide are awesome. If its doable, go for it!!!*+.*+.*+. - CinderellaPrincess85

I don't know how much this will help I loved it when I stayed there back in 92 - poohbear6382

Ah, the Caribbean! My other favorite! Tip- request a preferred room, like Martinique, so that you will be walking distance to the main pool and food. It's a very large resort. - PixieDust76

Oooh! This is helpful to me as well! I'll be there in 54 days. This will be the 4th WDW resort I've stayed at. I cannot wait to spray my family with the water cannons. Oops....was that out loud? ;) - Jessicaismyidol

Is there not constant transportation to the food court area if you are staying further out? - mrsincredible

Caribbean is very spread out. We stayed there in March & it's beautiful. We had a preferred room, so we were very close to food & pool. I hated the bus service, we didn't have car & took buses to the parks & there are a lot of bus stops in this resort. Some days it took 20 minutes to make all the stops before the bus even exited the resort. I would only stay there again if we were renting a car & driving ourselves to the parks - perdita

We won't have a car, so we will be relying on the buses. We will need to take a cab a few times to make early morning breakfast reservations at other resorts. Assiming there is a bell man at the main building that can help us with this? - mrsincredible

We stayed here a couple of years ago. The resort is beautiful and those pirate rooms are so cool. That being said, the pirate rooms are the furthest from the main house so mornings are a pain if you like to get morning coffee with you refillable mug. There is a lot of bus stops, and yours would be the last one. Last to get on and last to get off! It was a pain with small kids. We booked ten days there and only stayed five. We ended up changing hotels for more convienence. Hope this helps. - plutospals

Nice resort. We started there in 09, the only complaint we had was the laundry facilities. Over all nice resort - DonaldfiveO
