My family and I are going to WDW this December!(20-30) hut what I was wanting to know is that Is it worth going the week of Christmas or do the crowds ruin everything???? My family and I love to follow the characters and ride the rides...We are staying at Bay Lake Towers (because we are DVC members) Please tell me your opinions of Disney during Christmas time!

I too think the crowd ruins it . It's much better earlyer in the month when the crowds are a little less . Decorations are up and you get the atmosphere !! The only good part is to say you were in Disney for Christmas !!! Resorts are nice that day . - skcanfield

Welcome to mousewait! I think it is worth it going around Christmas time, even though it is crowded its really fun and all the parks and resorts are decorated for Christmas. Like CP85 said there are some rude people but I don't really think its bad since the cm are nice and it's wdw which is always fun! - nodell111

I've never been at Xmas time. But have at DL all the time. It is crowded and it does damper the mood some. You just have to be patient. It's good u are so close to mk. - dvcfam4

We were going to go over winter break / Christmas time, but found out that many days around Christmas the parks reach their capacity and turn people away. It would stink for us to travel so far and not get to spend time at the parks, since this is all we do while in the area. We are now thinking October! The crowds, I believe are worse over Christmas than Summer, but someone else might know for sure. - DizneyGirl

I went for my birthday weekend a few years ago & the parks were insanely packed. Met some rude people but met some nice people so it kind of balanced out. The parks are beautiful at Christmas & the whole world wants to see them at the same time. - Tinkerbell1265

We were there for christmas/newyears '99-2000 it was crowded but not bad. You just have to use EMH in am then nap, then go back to park. - Bakerjars
