I am new here to the WDW mouse wait so I wanted to say hi. so..."Hi" Just a bit of my take on Disney: To truly enjoy magic one must suspend their disbelief. Magic is best when you participate. A magicians efforts are useless without a willing audience. Go ahead and let down your guard, let your imagination take the wheel. Enjoy the trip. Don’t worry, the real world will be there when you get back. Stroll down a turn of the century small town main street where everyone is your neighbor and the shop owners greet you with a smile. Become an explorer, then a pirate, then a princess. Fly an elephant or a rocket, or both. Careening down a snowy mountain or souring over a California desert it is all magic. For some it takes practice, buying in, committing to fantasy. But once you do it becomes reality, you become part of the show, part of the magic. For some it will remain just sleight of hand, smoke and mirrors. For others, knowing the secretes adds to the thrill. For many, Knowing the mechanics behind the magic renders it mundane. But I have enough reality being thrown at me each day. So as for me, I will check my disbelief at the gate and believe in magic.
