Thinking about staying at caribbean next time we go because we've never stayed there before...any thoughts? Suggestions?
I liked Coronado much more as far as the rooms. However, the grounds were beautiful, but all resorts are going to have that :). My family votes Coronado Springs pool the best! - DizneyGirl

I stayed there once and wasn't impressed. The resort is large and really spread out. Maybe it's because it was my first trip to WDW, but I felt like we were miles away from everything. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad

Caribbean resort is cool and relaxed. It's an older "second generation" hotel, but it's nice still. Coronado is nice but it's too spread out for my taste. It's a convention area for that side of the resort. - IndyandMarion

Have stayed at coronado and I agree, nice but too convention like. If the caribbean is that big I m not sure I want to stay there unless I can get a room close to everything! - WildForWalt

If you stay at the Carribbean Resort, request Martinuque building, close to The food court Port Royale and to Bus Stops. I believe the Trinidad buildings are decorated with POTC theme but is a walk from food court. Martinique Building is first stop for buses going to the park. Great pool for kids as well😊 - majickingdom79

Love the theme, but it is a huge resort and the distance between you and the main buildings could be significant. We were a bit of a walk to the busses too. - disneychk

We are staying there this trip and have once before on a short trip. It is a big resort but my family enjoys the walks and the scenery. It is a beautiful resort. - mamatink

I love the Caribbean! Definately request preferred rooms like the Martinique buildings so that you can be close to everything, as the resort is large. MK79 is right about the buses, too. However, they have made the Martinique the last stop a few times that I rode it. (Maybe fill in drivers?) - PixieDust76
