Just got home from spending the day with my grandparents who are not doing very well. It is very hard to see them changing, it makes me sad. I just wanted to thank everyone here for bringing some smiles to my face whenever I look at all of your posts. I think the thing I love most about Disney is that no matter how many years go by, it always feels the same when you go back. It doesn't change. Just wanted to share. Good night everyone!
It is hard to see the ravages of time upon our loved ones. I have 2 elderly parents with whom I live with (again) and both have been through some tough stuff (especially my mother lately). Don't dwell on the negative as that just brings you down. Try to concentrate on the positive that they are still around and you're able to connect with them any time you want. Yea, the days are coming that our loved ones won't be here but right now they are so spend as much time as you can with them and always tell them how much you love them. I too am sorry to hear your grandparents are not doing so well. It's always nice to find some joy in pictures, places and things shared by these wonderful people that make up MW!
