Planning a trip to WDW in 2012. What hotel do u recommend and why? Also what restaurant is a must in the entire resort? Any advice is appreciated.
Loved cornado springs, staying there a second time in dec. Eating at Cinderellas table in the castle. Books up six months in advanced. Do the dinning plan. Def worth it and book restaurants well in advanced and make sure u keep confirmation numbers with u when u go for ur reservation. Don't think there are too many not so good places to eat, everything we went to was good - TinkTinkTink  150.7 #38 8:57AM
We have stayed twice at Port Orleans Riverside and really enjoyed it. If I could stay anywhere, it would be the Polynesian because it's really nice and the monorail is right there, but it's pricey. - ally  440.3 #4 9:45AM
Welcome! Try to research based on your budget. Our family enjoyed the Contemporary. It's expensive but worth it and monorail transportation makes it convenient. We also love the Polynesian resort. It has great theme and beautiful pool. For moderate resorts we liked Caribbean Beach (nice rooms/great pools w/waterslides). Also, book character dining at Chef Mickey's. You'll love it! Welcome. I agree with Jalex239 and ally. You can stay in WDW with almost any budget. I personally stayed at AKL, but I know for some, it's out of their price range, so it really depends what you can afford. I have always LOVED Caribbean Beach. The atmosphere is so fun and relaxing! They have different pools for every area away from the main pool, which is nice. But the main pool is awesome! So is the main eating area. Port Orleans has tons of different quick service eating options and a sit down restaurant called Shutters. Port Orleans French Quarter gets my vote! It's a moderate, so not overly pricey. Compact resort with boat service to DTD. - Shunasee  180.2 #1858 4:46PM
