so I've been on the phone all day looking for a dog sitter for when we go to disney..what does everybody else do with there animals when they travel.

There are animal sitters that will actually come to your place take your pet for a walk and cleane after it if it had an accident on the floor - firestorm64rt

We pay a college student from church to stay at the house with ours. It's less traumatic for the dogs than a kennel, the guy makes some easy money and the house looks lived-in too. We pay him about what we'd pay to kennel the dogs and figure the cost into the cost of the trip like any other expense. - TinkWannaBe

Pet smart and other Vet offices offer house sitting (pet) it can be pricy last time we used this service it was 200 a week to come by 1x daily! Ouch is right! - TinkeringHalo

I have an awesome friend that stays at my home. If you were close I would do it. During spring break around here, I take care of 7 dogs. They all live close and my son helps me. Thankgoodness they are all good! - disneycm
