The Fred Gurley #3 went into service 55 years ago today. The Fred Gurley is a 2-4-4 locomotive built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1894. Very first time riding the tender of the Ernest S Marsh!! She looks and runs great after her two year and 1.2 million dollar refurbishment.
