Some pics of the new Starbucks Reserve in DTD. This is the best looking Starbucks I've ever seen! There are beautiful furnishings inside & plenty of outdoor patio seating, plus free wifi..what's not to like!
Big thanks to @cskingsley for the RAK attraction readmission pass! I'm here by myself, and the pass is good for up to six guests, so if someone wants to ride something with me, I'm sitting on the MW porch drinking my Starbucks...come find me!
Paging @CinderellE-79 you are so sweet!! Thank you so much for sending me the Dole Whip Float sticker!! I missed it when it came out & I've been wanting one ever since!! So thanks! I see that you are missing a Rocket to the Moon sticker, so I just sent you one. Hope you enjoy!
Live - the Swing Riders are back today in DCA at the Paradise Garden Bandstand until 5:15pm. That's my husband on the right playing steel guitar. I'll be here all day, so hope you will come on by and say hello.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
