So this happened last night at #dapperday. We are taking pictures in front of the castle and my fiancé gives me the pin. I didn't realize until everyone was cheering that he pinned the actual ring with the pin. I really got a shock and an actual Disney proposal. Thanks to the CM that helped my fiancé plan the whole thing (I wish I got her name but I was in tears so I would have forgotten it at t More...
After several wardrobe changes we finally made it!!! (Well stuck in line to renew my pass). Hope to see other Dapper MWers around and if you see a girl in all pink and pouting, that's me so come say hi. Lol.
THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!! DLKenCA searched and found me the buttons at Disney World!! 😊😊😊 I just got them in the mail!! My fiancé and I will wear them with pride next time we are at the parks. Let's meet up so I can treat you to a drink (or churro...mint julep...or dole whip. Lol)
Good morning everyone!! Hope you all recovered from a wonderful Christmas. I wanted to throw out a question: the 'Just Engaged' buttons are not available all the time? My fiancé tried to get one for me last night (I told him i wanted the button since the ring wouldn't be ready till the weekend) but the CM by the wait time boards said those buttons were limited edition. Thanks!
Merry Christmas fellow MWers! Hope you all have a wonderful day with the ones you love. I hope to be able to make it to future meet ups so I can meet each and every one of you. Thank you for all your inspiring and cute stories that you post each day.
I keep missing the pin/stickers event and I just noticed there's a Mark Twain boat sticker. If anyone happens upon an extra one or knows someone that does, could you kindly let me know. Please and Thank You 😉❤👐☺
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
