For those with Pre-K aged kids, do you take a stroller to the parks? My son just turned 5 do he's able to do plenty of walking. I'm just worried about when he's tired or having to wait in a long line. I'm not wanting to take a huge jogging stroller but a fold up umbrella stroller...should I bring it or rent one from the park?
We purchased an umbrella stoller at target for $10, and the passed it onto another family when we were done. it was cheaper than renting one and then we didn't have to worry about transporting it on the plane. - DisneyVacationLover  274.8 #779 5:44PM
I love the idea of RAKing the stroller at the end of your use! - lynniesue42  229.4 #1248 6:21PM
Thanks! - DisneyVacationLover  274.8 #779 6:27PM
I would take the fold up stroller because there are times when he's going to get tired and it will come in handy so you don't have to pay to rent one :) my nephew is 4 and i was really glad we took a stroller because he did indeed get very tired at times, especially in the evening :) - AnaheimsMom  230.6 #1230 5:38PM
I like taking my big stroller cuz I don't have to carry bags or get lockers. And I can carry some snacks for our little one :D - annjay07  134.5 #2525 7:26PM
Stroller is a crowd breaker annnnd can carry things!! We bring a stroller for our 4 yr old even though he could probably walk lol :) - LoveDisneyDucklings  28.6 #4434 7:28PM

I am curious; many times a year do you go to DL? We are planning our first time but I see many of you are AP holders so I wondered how often you went. :)
I would say 02928382748283628 times 😉. Too many times to count basically. - nickb92  69.6 #3402 8:51AM
Let's just say that when people ask me what I'm doing this weekend and I answer, "The usual" they say "So you're going to Disneyland". :) - VeloMouseGirl  549.7 #202 9:12AM

Newbie here....Wanted to introduce myself and ask a question. :) My hubby and I plan to take our 5yo to Disneyland next month. (We bought the 3 day hopper pass.) This is all of our 1st time there; I am looking for some tips. What are some of your favorite must try restaurants, snacks, and must ride or see? Anything we should skip? Thanks for the input!
Take your time! Relax! Be super nice to the othe guest who forgot how to smile.. Ride the train at least one time all the way around the park. Make sure you get fast passes they will cut down on your wait times. Eat at odd hours. If you can see all 3 night time shows (one each night) take time to nap and chill at the hotel so your little one can make it late after the fireworks crowds thin out a little. Stop on main street close your eyes and just take in the smells and sounds. If your little one doesn't like rides try not to push the thrill seeker will come out one day. HAVE FUN! - Lifeguardmom  292.5 #657 6:56AM
Plaza Inn, he would love it. My 12yr loved it when he was 4,(and he still does now). - stevencato  206.9 #1529 6:49PM

Be sure to go to City Hall and get a First visit button. Also Riverbelle Terrace has great breakfast--Mickey Mouse Pancakes! Yum. - cesium55  529.7 #216 7:14AM
