Disney has been part of my life since I was little. I successfully brainwashed my husband to love Disney, and we are raising a son who loves Disney.

We saw it Friday and thought it was so funny!  Maybe even better than the first film

#rememberthetower  #tot  team here says not not letting my kids watch either movie till there 12 and up. This franchise language and gesture is more mature content than most is any Disney movies including other marvel films and yes I know I can't protect them from everything but still the momma instinct in me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - pikaplaid  8112.5 #16 9:09AM
You can have an adult day and go watch it. We watched the first one on tv, while the kiddos napped, so I'm guessing they might have taken out a lot of stuff😬 - sultan  506.9 #483 9:54AM

I loved this movie. Β Personally I don't think it's better nor worse than the first, I think it's on par instead. Β Without spoiling anything, the 2nd half was just an emotional rollercoaster ride. Β The 5 end credit scenes were great and I'd say my favorite one was the third clip because it got me even more excited for GOTG Vol 3. Β Also the cameo appearance for a certain character from another upcoming Marvel movie caught me by surprise and was well used πŸ˜‚. Β Overall, it has a different tone, colors are slightly different, the opening credits scene was genius and definitely was better than the first one, Β and the soundtrack was just awesome and the way the songs were used was brilliantly done. I am groot. - SorcererD91  8225.4 #15 10:21PM

We stayed there last weekend during the Run Disney event.  It was our first time at that hotel, and we liked it.  The room was nice, clean, and comfortable for our family of 4.

yes I have stayed there a few times I like the motel the last time we stayed was in May and we had a problem with our shower tub would not drain they fix that for us but the shower was not working properly water was coming out of the shower and tub faucet at the same time they never did fix it for us even though I went down and told them three times about it so at the end of our stay they took money off of our bill and I didn't have to pay for parking so that was nice and yes I would stay there again - Disneydollarpam  206.8 #2062 9:49AM

Moldy cheese and a glass of wine pair well 😊

I had a Mac & Cheese served at a party once that had Gorgonzola, Sharp English Cheddar & Gruyere... it was tossed in the cheese mixture and crumbles were put on top at the last minute to bake with bread crumbs. The dish also had crispy pancetta bacon and asparagus tips...Best mac & cheese I've ever had! It took the party host to make she said that they only make it at Christmas time. It was so rich and gooey, but it was amazing!!! πŸ§€πŸ§€πŸ§€ - Catski23  34.4 #6094 3:13PM

I have, without giving so much away, I loved the singing and dance number, and the wardrobe 😍. One thing did throw me off was a little about the integrated cast, the main characters (in the show I saw) where off. Anna looked older than Elsa. Other than that I thought it was great. Very talented cast. - MARVELus  779.2 #296 11:12AM
Seen it Sunday. Loved the sets and Olaf. Will probably see it one more time or when friends come in from out of town. But other than that I probably won't go back to see it again and again like I did with Aladdin. Loved the Genie. Due to he would add stuff and improvise current events and topical things happening. Where Frozen will probably keep to the script.  - eeyoretinkfan  369.9 #27 6:38AM
totally agree! Genie kept up with current events, so it always seemed like a new show every visit. I wished they made Olaf the "genie" we'll see. - OhanaPhoto  7100.6 #21 8:04AM
I haven't seen it, but I just want to say, that I personally didn't care too much for Aladdin the first two or three times--I didn't see what the big deal was.  As time went by, it became a fun part of our trips, and the memories became more and more special to us.  So, maybe give it some time--it might grow on you not because of the actual performance, but more because of the people you see it with and the memories you make together over time 😊 - Spoonful_O_Sugar  713.5 #333 6:49AM
Hopefully that's the case. I felt like the actors haven't completely embraced their characters yet. Maybe they'll be a bit more "animated" as time passes. :) Spoonful_O_Sugar - OhanaPhoto  7100.6 #21 9:45AM

We loved those, too! Enjoy WDW!

Okay I know I'm in the minority here but I'm glad DL does not serve liquor of any kind. DL is for families and remembering those moments. You don't kneed or should have access to liquor here. DCA that's a whole other park and if you want that then by all means go there but I for one come for that wholesome feeling of what Walt wanted and the community atmosphere of the time that DL was built. I have not been on TOT, as I am good at getting dizzy on my own without being dropped and shot back up. My son and husband just went on it last year for the first time and enjoyed it.  From what I have read, the whole area is to be re-themed to Marvel and that's why TOT would get the Guardians of the Galaxy makeover.  I guess only time will tell

Tagged in: Disney History
I love ToT! πŸ’– Such a fun read and neat to see the opening ceremony with the fireworks and lightening effects!  I just love the feel of Old Hollywood. ✨😍Haven't been on any other versions, but would love to do so. I'm definitely hopeful that the Guardians of the Galaxy change is just a rumor--I honestly don't think there's much truth to that idea since ToT is such a cornerstone for DCA and the Old  Hollywood theme is classic CA, and the ride is beloved and iconic in the park ...  I just feel like it would be like taking the Matterhorn and making it into a Star Wars or Lone Ranger ride...doesn't make any sense to me πŸ˜‚ but I do suppose anything is possible?  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  713.5 #333 8:35AM
I'm thrilled you enjoyed it! I agree, the old glamorous feeling in the Hollywood area is lovely. I so hope you're right about the rumor. πŸ˜” makes me sad! Ha! I never thought of it like that, Lone Ranger mountain is just...wrong!  - Duchess_SMK  6631.6 #23 10:53AM
Hi! πŸ‘‹πŸΌ. I've always enjoyed that very haunting music, while waiting in queue. It's just works to make it feel creepier. I also like, in this instance, how the palm trees are not manicured and look as if they've been abandoned. What a fabulous opening with Mrs Serling! Great special effects with the fireworks! For years I wanted nothing to do with this attraction, thank goodness Mr. talked us Churros into it- it's now a family favorite. I've never been to any other DL resort. As for the change, I feel like it's a Β s t r e t c h. I love Guardians of the Galaxy, but I just have to wonder how the Imagineers are going to retheme it and make it feel natural?? Thanks again for your post!😘 - misschurro  9874.9 #12 9:02AM
Hi! Me too! I get all excited in line, especially since I hardly ever get to enjoy it! I'm glad Mr churro talked you into it too! I still remember seeing the pic from your first time. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ» I agree a total stretch! It doesn't seem possible to me to fit! Thanks for taking the time to read and comment! Always appreciated!  - Duchess_SMK  6631.6 #23 9:06PM

Man I hope it's not true πŸ˜“ , it would be a huge mistake.  It seems Disney is removing everything unique and nostalgic lately and replacing it with the crap fad of the moment.  I fear in 10 years the place I love will be unrecognizable.  TOT was the biggest pull for us in that park... We always go on POTC first. I grew up doing that, so now I make my family continue the tradition

I always cry with joy when I walk through the gate.  Does that count?  I hope you have a wonderful trip. - PalousePrincess  27.8 #6800 10:06AM
Yes that counts!  I tear up a little when we leave 😒 - ElsaSnowflake  437.0 #584 10:21AM
My daughter picks the first ride , usually space mountain. We always start our vacation in Disneyland on the first day, then day two is Disney California. Also what ever ride we start on our first day, has to be the last ride before our vacation ends on the last day. Have fun - Snowbelle15  2.7 #59973 10:35AM
Thx!  Cool tradition to start and end trip w same ride.  We might steal that one. 😎 - ElsaSnowflake  437.0 #584 10:41AM
We start at the Tiki Room and then head around to Piarates and HM ending up with lunch at the Hungry Bear.  - kskating  742.8 #321 8:46PM
That's a nice route through the park! I'm looking forward to a Hungry Bear visit next week. - ElsaSnowflake  437.0 #584 7:15AM
Yes! Jungle cruise was the first ride we ride on our first trip as a family. Now it is tradition to ride it first every trip.  - EvilqueenRS  704.9 #335 9:15PM
