My husband and I will be coming in from New York next week! I am wondering how the weather has been and what is some good Anaheim attire in December? Is a light sweater good enough for the evenings? :) thoughts and suggestions?
Ahhh! A fellow New Yorker!! I'm from NorCal but go to college in upstate NY :) Have a fabulous trip, I'm heading home next week as well! As for the weather, leave those winter coats and snow boots at home. A sweatshirt is more than adequate ^_^ - KylaShea  625.8 #257 6:58PM
A light sweater to light jacket should be just fine. Lows only in the 50s. Possible rain, so keep tabs for that. - FantasmicFan82  188.3 #1980 6:45PM
A lighter extra layer for during the day and a jacket for night. Also, rain is in our forecast. - brigeet  345.9 #586 11:21AM
If you are coming from NY, then the weather out here would be bikini and swim trunks for you guys - Villescas8  600.8 #273 12:22PM

Hey guys! Have a question...my husband and I plan on coming to Disneyland around the 16th of December. We've never been over the holidays! Any idea what the crowds are like around 16th-18th? Thanks so much! We are so excited to see Disney Christmas style!
Our school district in ventura county is in till the 21st , so hopefully crowds won't be too bad the week you're going. Last year we went on the 21st and it was Packed - handdmom  226.1 #1496 12:13PM
hi! It may be crowded that weekend. Some schools gets out the 14th for break. The 16th may be busy, being a Sunday, and the 17-18 is questionable (depending how many families are already on break). Just be ready to have it being crowded - BaseballMickey_CM  5719.8 #13 12:14PM
Thanks guys. Last year we went over fourth of July and it was insane! But we still had an amazing time :) - Golden1212  3.4 #25610 12:19PM

Does anyone know how late you can buy tickets at the gate in Disneyland? My husband and I get in this afternoon and plan on hitting the parks tomorrow, but wanted to get our tickets ahead of time? We are military so have to buy our tickets at the gate :)
Park in Toy Story parking lot and they have a cart where you can buy tickets. Usually no line for it. - Chumash28  912.0 #153 11:06AM
Yes but they close that cart fairly early in the day I've noticed - MelodyMouse  2681.2 #34 1:54PM
There is one booth that stays open until park closing. - LaPearleNoir  1169.0 #107 11:12AM
If you buy online, I believe it's cheaper than the gate price. - PrincessKristin  780.2 #187 1:39PM
Thanks guys! I know to get our military fare we have to buy them at the gate. I was just curious how late they were open! We will be in downtown Disney tonight so I may just go check. - Golden1212  3.4 #25610 4:38PM

So my husband and I will be at Disneyland next weekend for the first time together and we would love suggestions on places to eat...what's your favorite and why? :)
For a memorable dinner, try Blue Bayou. NO trip to DL is complete without a Dole Whip though - ScooterMike  1961.4 #58 2:46PM
Worrrrrd - dolewhipper  7.5 #10788 3:18PM
Blue bayou is great. Arrive early and asked to sit next to the water. I like to sit outside at cafe orleans. Love their Monte cristo and I have never liked them until Disneyland. We like big thunder bbq. Usually for lunch. Both Mexican restaurants at DL and DCA are great values and good food. Royal street veranda has great bowls of gumbo or clam chowder. We usually share these. We never miss a visit at Goofys kitchen with or without kids we have a great time there. - girlzstylin  227.6 #1482 3:01PM
Thanks for all the suggestions! I always like trying different things whenever I go :) and I will definitely try this dole whip thing I keep hearing about! Lol - Golden1212  3.4 #25610 5:43PM
Carthay Circle looks amazing from what I've seen of my brief walk in to the lounge to check it out. Very classy atmosphere. - CM_Shadowgamer  2302.9 #45 5:55PM
