In my experience, when they sell out of an event you cannot buy tickets. - dsmdanny

I have seen them sell tickets inside the park, last year it was in carnation plaza. If you don't have a wristband once the party starts, they direct you to buy tickets. Of course, if they are sold out, one would expect them to escort you out instead. I will say, I was there last Halloween night and they were selling tickets. Just don't get your hopes up. π - bluefairy

Here I am commenting after bluefairy again!! Last year we were there on a sold out day, they made the people leave, there were not any tickets available. And as far as I can see the only days sold out so far are this Friday (opening day) and next Friday. Halloween is still available, we went on Halloween last year and it did not sell out. - secretagentangel

Going to the Disneyland Halloween Party for the first time. Super excited any recommendations or advice about what to do and can someone tell me what events they have Thank You
Take your own treat bag! They ones they give you are small and you will fill them very quickly. They don't limit what you can get, so bring your own larger bag. I would suggest starting in the back of the park as everyone is in the lines in the front. Better yet, wait 2-3 hours into the party, and you will see lines going waaaaaaaaay down. - Sarafina

It seems like everyone gets way too much candy. Last year there were pillowcases full - E-Ticket 772.5 #128 1:05PM
Wait until after the party to buy candy for the trick or treaters, you may not need to! π - bluefairy 627.4 #174 8:55PM
This is our first time too. I've been copying and saving tips for the Halloween party to refer to as the date gets closer. - Bo22

Pretty much, although I didn't ride anything. We made it a priority to do the photo ops, cavalcade, and fireworks since we are passholders and can ride them any time. - bluefairy 627.4 #174 8:58PM
Sad they cancelled the fireworks but got great seating for Fantasmic though I guess that makes up for it
Its always the best when you just happen to walk up just before the show and get an amaZing seat! Happened to me last night. - heather77

Oh but it can be frustrating when you sit for hours to get a great seat for the fireworks and then it gets cancelled lol. We watch the trees to see how much they're blowing - TrueFromOzLovesDisney
