We are taking a last minute trip from Illinois to Redondo beach to see my husbands sick grandpa. We are hoping to squeeze in a day at DL. My brother says he can get us the SoCal passes but I am sure you can't use them if you are not a SoCal resident- he disagrees and says as long as he purchases them we'll be ok. Who's right? :)

Went to book a spring break trip for March today and found higher rates and sold out rooms. Turns out that Wondercon is the week that I was looking at! We decided to go a week later and let the kiddos skip out on school for two days. 😃Spring break crowds are bad enough without the Wondercon crowds added in.

I bought this cool book at an antique store today! It is from 1969 and has so many pictures. It's been fun looking at it and seeing how the park has changed and evolved. I was so excited when I found it!
