Quick question. Do any of you guys remember an old Disney Christmas movie That had a song called Hip Hop Noel? It had people and characters in it? My nieces loved it when they were little. I want to get it for my bf's son but I can't remember the name.

My boyfriend his 6yr old and I will be coming to Disneyland in Jan from Oregon. How much do you guys usually reserve for spending money each Day for food? We are gonna have snack and drinks in the Hotel. And we will have a certain amount set aside for souveniers.
If you stay in the parks and eat, plan to pay about $10-$15 per person, per meal. You are able to bring already made sandwiches into the parks (great for lunch) to save some money. If you use our search feature and search the keywords "budget" or "tips" you will find a ton of money saving ideas for your trip. Hope this helps! - Armenda  1135.5 #121 8:58AM
If you do breakfast at your hotel and bring in snacks and drinks I'd say $100/ day for lunch and dinner if you do counter/ quick service meals. We usually bring in lunch then dinner and treats are $50 (when there's 3 of us). - NikkiMickey  1683.9 #74 9:22AM
Thanks guys! We are staying at the DLH so I am hoping to get some groceries for the room to have breakfast there and snacks. We are going to have one nice lunch (cheaper than dinner) then the cheaper quick serve for dinner! - Cinderkelly  55.7 #4152 5:35PM
For the first time I actually purchased all my food ahead of time :) headed back to the room for lunch, packed day snacks then had our sandwiches/jarred salads for dinner! All of our food for 4 days cost about 50 bucks, great compared to 200 I spent last time in 3 days. - NeverlandPan  7.3 #11248 7:37PM

Quick question. I want to buy the CD of pics and I know you can pre-purchase it but do I do that on the Disney website? 98 days to go!!!
The photo pass plus is the best purchase we made for our trip. We'll be getting one every time we go! - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  620.3 #274 9:58PM

For those of you MWers who live in So. Cal, what is is the weather usually like in Jan?
Cold (for us that live in So. Cal). Sweater, pants, and beanie weather. Jacket for outside. - aidensmama  340.1 #610 5:31PM
Sometimes there are those crazy 80 degree days in January. For the most part, I think it is around 50s. - PrincessTiannaBeignet  227.4 #1501 6:00PM

We are planning our Disney vacation for jan 13-19. I know this is right around the Tinkerbell run. Do you think it will be crazy busy? We try to go when it isn't too busy. I know the wknd will be pretty busy but what about the wk of Jan 14th?
I think the tinker bell run is the last weekend of jan. I think you be fine. Not packed at all. That's a good time to go. I went last year in jan and didn't know about the tink run, it was busy just during the run. Traffic was the worse. - fantasmicfan02  35.6 #4882 7:29AM
No, this is an awesome time to visit the parks. School is back in session. Holiday decorations won't be there though, but neither will crowds, - splashphotoCM  885.6 #165 8:19AM

Question for all of the MWs out there who do not live in SoCal. When you plan your DL trip do you usually use a travel agent or do you book flight and hotel/park package seperately? I think we are going to use a travel agent this time. It just seems easier and we are getting a good deal through them.
First thing you should know, if you didn't, you do not pay to use a travel agent. Some agents or agencies might charge a small fee for large trips, that require a lot of work. Travel agents are knowledable and often times are able to have access to fantastic deals from vendors. I live in NorCal, and I do not use an agent for my trips to DL, but I encourage folks that live a few states over or are out of the country, to utilize the services of an agent. They do all the work for you, so you can just enjoy. :) 😊 - DisneyFanZoe  1106.9 #129 12:32PM
then why do they have a business where people are paying them and it ain't no small fee - AZDizFanEMT  10.9 #8625 1:08PM
AZ~Huh?? I used to have an agency. My $ came more from commission through the various business I was connected with. A small fee would be charged for building itineraries and other such items that require time. Travel agents are like any other profession yet people dont want to pay a fee. I had clients willing to pay $1,000's on trips but would balk at my fee of $40-50 to plan their trip for them. In addition, to being there for them when they missed flight, cruises and other unexpected events. I highly appreciate DFZ's comment!! - Romec123aKaSmartyPants  630.2 #264 2:35PM
😊😊 I'm often boggled by the misunderstanding people have of travel agents. How are experts in the travel industry a bad thing to turn to? Crazy... - DisneyFanZoe  1106.9 #129 2:55PM
I use Agent P - Mouse4life  1150.2 #118 11:24AM
I always use a travel agent. They have saved me so much money. Able to set up military discounts for my dad, cheaper hotels I could go on. - JediTrance  71.5 #3799 1:42PM
I'm local, so this doesn't technically count. But I've used hotels.com to book a couple nights stay near the resort, and saved a LOT of $$$!! - GrimGrinningAmanda  660.1 #249 1:54PM

At Disneyland and most other theme parks around the good ol U.S. of A children over 10 yrs are considered adults hence their admission being that of adult price. - Romec123aKaSmartyPants  630.2 #264 8:17PM

How do you play the MW trivia?
Very carefully. - Mimmy  1442.3 #87 6:21PM
If you have a fb account you can go search it on there. Just make sure if you want to earn points that youre email address is the same one you use for mw. Also, lots of apps with Disney trivia are available. They're not as hard as the MW one, but still fun nonetheless! - kanastarr  88.9 #3515 6:22PM
I just found out that we can earn MW point doing that, I am hooked! :-) - LynniePooh  238.0 #1362 6:23PM

I can't figure out how to add a profile pic. Can somebody help me? Thanks!
Q. How do I post a profile picture?A.  You can change your Profile picture on the iPhone by going to the MouseRank tab, there is a place on there where you can upload it. Same thing for Android, just go to the MouseRank tab and upload your picture. You can also do it on the web version by going to your Profile page,(while you are logged in), here you can upload a pic directly from your computer. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for your new pic to appear. - DaisyDork  198.7 #1878 12:52PM
