My Disneyland Mousewait Crowd Index isn't showing. Where it normally shows the index, it's showing the end time for Magic Morning Hours. Sorry, no screen shot.
The DCA crowd index shows correctly.
Android phone, I'd say I've had this problem for approx a month or so. Already updated the App, cleared cache, etc.
This is the inset of the POTC souvenir book they use to sell at the Park. My parents got this for me 1981 or 1982. Found this book tonight while rumagging through old stuff. Book's falling apart, had to baby it while taking the pic. I'm trying to find all the cool old park maps I had, not havin much luck.
The different versions of Carthay Circle, in order of awesome: #1 - the original theatre, razed. #2 - DCA version, a restaurant. #3 - Disney Hollywood Studios version, a shop. #4 - the site of where the original carthay was built, now occupied by a couple of generic office buildings.
A look at the actual Hyperion St bridge that inspired the recreation at DCAs Buena Vista St. 2nd pic is next to bridge - the pylons/supports are where the Red Cars crossed the river. I work about 2 blocks from this location.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
