Radiator Springs had a walk off about 30 min ago. Looks like they are testing the track at super slow speed at the moment. No riders yet.

Just started faster testinf and some speakers are working in the cars.  - Gimmer  278.9 #1098 10:30AM

MW'ers I need some advice. We are heading to the parks in April and it will be my mom's first trip in 16 years. What do you think are some musts in relation to newer attractions? She hasn't even seen california adventure. Im trying to pick a few favorites that she has to see/do since we will only be there 2 days.

when I took my mom for her first time in 15+ years, she liked everything except waiting for food at tomorrowland terrace. She said she really like BVS - GoofyMom77  968.1 #198 2:07PM
The Little Mermaid! :) - MeganMouse93  6.5 #15520 2:09PM
Yes my parents loved WOC, also they loved the shows and the animation building because it had plenty of places to sit and my mom loved hearing all the old Disney songs to movies. - mini_MINNIE  1165.8 #160 3:48PM
My dad really enjoys Ca Soarin. - Sleepingbeautysmom  325.3 #798 8:56PM

I need some advice fellow MWer's. We will be in the parks in two weeks and we are so excited to try RSR for the first time but since we have a baby the hubby and I can't go at the same time. Fast passes or single rider?

single rider or i think they have this pass where you can switch not sure how it works though - Hendizl  2862.9 #49 8:12AM
You ask the cm for a child switch pass. First rider waits in the regular line. After the rideris off the attraction they hand the pass to the second rider where they will enter though the fast pass line. - Bambi.  605.0 #350 8:27AM
Parent pass for that ride works the same as fast pass. Other rides the parent pass is better that both since you go through the exit but not for this ride so I'd suggest fast pass as your best bet - brodysmommy  434.6 #519 8:19AM
We are a family of 4 and my daughter is not tall enough to ride. We always get 4 fast passes. This allows my son to ride twice, once with me and once with my hubby. You can also get a parent swap pass which allows for another ride. - LaPearleNoir  2185.1 #75 8:32AM
Fast pass... They do not give out the switch rider pass if you stand in the single rider line only in the regular line... At least when we tried last time. - belle0785  78.4 #4062 10:08AM

The Disneyland blog has an article about some of the new pins coming to the parks this year. I love the good luck/bad luck ones but they'll be at WDW only.

I saw this in the AAA mag and thought some of you might appreciate it. In case you can't see the 7 best eats at the parks according to AAA are: fried green tomato sandwich, New Orleans salad, spit roasted pork loin, homemade beef chili in a bread cone, cream-cheese filled soft pretzels, dole whips, and spicy corn dogs. Agree or disagree? What did they forget?

Okay so my hubby is hoping you taller MW'ers can answer a question for him. He loves the Matterhorn; but, he's worried because he's 6'3 and it seems like the sleds are really cramped now. So, how is it tall people? Will he be miserable?

I'm not tall but I can tell you he will be miserable haha - ThatGuyWithNegativeMouseRank  535.3 #406 9:41PM
Oh man, poor guy is going to be so sad. He's swearing it off if it'll be uncomfortable so that he can keep his good memories of how the ride used to be. - Gimmer  278.9 #1098 9:50PM

Sadly, we won't be going to the parks until the Tinkerbell Half Marathon; but, my hubby gave me a taste of Disney with my bday cake. I'm 25 today and, believe it or not, it's my first character bday cake! What ways do you rock Disney when you can't hit the parks?

I hadn't seen this posted yet and thought it was really cool. On June 8th an exhibit is opening up at Blue Sky Cellars called The Radiator Springs Historical Society’s Museum of the History of Radiator Springs. It'll have artifacts from the history of Radiator Springs. Another little teaser for Cars Land. You can read about it here:

Hi chub33 folks. I'm hoping to join you lovely people as I lose the 15 pounds I still have left to lose from my pregnancy and then about 20 more. I'm still on limited activity for two weeks but then I'll start training for the Tinkerbell Half Marathon. I'm ridiculously excited!

Welcome! Congrats on your new baby! I'm sure a bunch of us in here will be running the Tinkerbell Half Marathon as well so look for posts about it. Good luck with your training! - PirateQueenBriezy  330.9 #769 5:04PM

Hi mousewaiters. I thought i would finally join after lurking for awhile. All the posts have helped entertain me while I carried this little munchkin (reading about Princess Tiana with her dad). The pictures make my day! Hopefully we will get a chance to go soon. Anyone have tips for going with an infant?

Hello and Welcome! This picture is so very sweet...reminds me of when we used to read to our kids when they were babies! Such a wonderful thing! Also you can use the rider switch pass if you both want to go on rides that the baby can't! Have a great time! 😊 - MinnieMousewife  916.3 #206 7:55PM

Hi! Love the pic 💓 We've been with both our kids as infants, and now as toddlers, and the best things you can do are: 1) stay enough days where you won't feel pressured to do everything in record time--take plenty of breaks and go back to your hotel for stretches; 2) bring a comfy stroller and baby carrier for those long lines, as well as a large blanket for waiting for parades and the night shows; 3) load up with snacks, treats, drinks before entering the park--pack that stroller to the brim; 3) take advantage of the baby center, rider swap, single rider, etc. - Diz_Mel  96.0 #3717 8:14PM
