Yes, and thank you! I learned alot of safety tips while working at the child abuse prevention center, I too write my phone number on their arms before we leave the house, take a picture a soon as we get there and have a safety plan (which got safety reasons will remain between us) , and I am very glad I have this plan in place. Today was a great

I don't have children myself but I think it's good that the children know their parents' name and last name. Also a good idea to write a number on their shirt tag and make sure they know so in case they ask they could just say its there - princessb5

I like all the tips here. I personally would not want to put my address anywhere. I like to use my cell phone number that i know i can always be reached on. Dont want just anyone having access to my address. (I also don't include it in my luggage for similar reason. Don't want someone to rip off my home when they know I'm on vacation.) - meridafan

I didn't lose them per say. . . we were on Tom Sawyers Island. My kids knew not to leave the island without me, so I knew where they were. They also stick to together, so they weren't "alone". I'm 5'8" and have a little extra meat on the bones, so I don't move well inside the caves. After a couple laps on the island I did find them, together happy and playing, but I was on "high alert" mode thinking all the horrible what ifs. - GoofyMom77
