One month from today we will be in DL!!! WooHoo!! Cannot wait. Reservations are made and we are surprising my daughter with a makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I have yet to go to a meet-up because I always felt weird and out of place but I'm making it my mission to attend one when we are there in July. This is an amazing community and am looking forward to becoming more involved.

We are coming to DL in July. I've been pricing out transportation options from John Wayne Airport to the Hilton. So far it seems like Disneyland Express would be the best option. We have 3 children that we are traveling with as well. Any other suggestions?

The Hilton doesn't have an airport service? We used a shuttle service that was $45 for 7 people... There ended up being 2 kids and 4 adults and it got all out luggage too. I can find out the name if that is affordable for you (my MIL booked it). - brodysmommy

We've ONLY taken the express (couldn't imagine taking anything else!) and we stay at the Marriott on convention way. From JWA , its approx 20 mins. From LAX, its approx 50mins. Never had any issues and drivers have always been extremely professional. It's nice to be able to "stretch out" after a cramped plane ride-good luck and have a great trip! - DisneyDawn

Yeah the Hilton is right across the street! Is it 20 minutes going to the hotel and 20 minutes directly back to the airport or are there a lot of stops on the way? We took the express 2 years ago and it took an hour and a half to get to the airport. - Ldgsg 24.1 #4824 2:37PM
It is 20 mins going to the hotel. We've used them since 2006 and have never had more than 2 stops before our stop. And going to JWA, its always "direct". They are very good about telling you how much time you need to make your flight. I love it that they show up when they say they will! Just used them 4wks ago :) - DisneyDawn 417.1 #315 3:26PM

Does anyone know where I can fix an Izzy cotume for my daughter. She is 5 years old and I found one online but the biggest size is 4-6 and I think it will be too small. Not sure if they carry it in the parks. Thanks :)

There were some great ideas online on how to created a Izzy costume. Buy the accessories from the disney store so she has some items. My son is 5 & his 5/6 Jake costume is a little small too. - pinkmonkeys

There are so many amazing pics on here so I thought this would be the perfect place for some good information!! I am in the market for a new camera and looking for something that takes awesome pics at night especially of the fireworks and Fantasmic. Also something with a quick shutter speed that can catch the kids in action. Typically I take between 800-1000 pics when we are in DL for a week. More...
I just got a canon, t3i, still trying to figure it out, and haven't posted from it yet as I keep forgetting my eye fi card. If you want to download photos from your camera to mw or social sites while in the parks, without a laptop or tablet, you will need the eye fi card, it is a memory card in your phone that automatically sends the photos to your phone so you can download then. some of the newest cameras not have that built in but the t3i does not. some of the better photographers on here will give you tips or look it up under search for an old post. have fun with it!:) - secretagentangel

this is an old post!! from what i heard the t4i now has its own wifi built in. not sure if that is true. lately though, i just use an adapter, put my photos on a micro sd card and then put that card into my phone and post, the eye fi drained my battery too much. - secretagentangel

While waiting in line to meet Merida there is the best CM entertaining the kids. He is singing all songs from Disney movies annd having everyone guess the movie. So much fun!!
