If I were to go again I would hit Fantasyland first, as it was definitely the crowded area. And I would also dress up-I ended up being one of the few adults in the park without a costume. I would also arrive early for the special fireworks show to get a better view. The whole event was so much fun, I hope you have a wonderful time!

I live in Grants Pass. So far, the best airfare deals I've found are with AllegiantAir. As far as packages go, Horizon/AlaskaAir has good deals. It's cheaper to fly into LAX as opposed to the other airports...Supershuttle is reasonable at $16 each way last time I checked.
We always drive coming from the Sacramento area. If we don't stay at the grand the tropicana is very reasonable and a nice place to stay and it is right across the street. - Buzz805

We use JetBlue from PDX to Long Beach. Great shuttle service to HoJo and back. Very inexpensive. I watch for rates on Jet Blue. Last Christmas we got plane tickets for $65.00 each way. HoJo for annual pass holder rates are really good. We have also stayed at Super 8 for cheap, but I don't really recommend it. We normally stay Sunday - Thursday. - NurseDisney
