So much fun in the rain today! We fit in our entire wish list in one day, that took us three days last trip! I was afraid the rain would make this a crumby day! NOPE! All you mouse waiters were right, best day ever! Thanks for all the great advise!
It's forecasted to rain two out of our three days in DL :-(. We are worried rides will be closed and fireworks will be canceled. Does that happen because of rain? I am sure we will have fun either way!
We just left Disneyland and can't wait to go back. We live in alaska, so it is quiet an expense to make our way down there. SO, we have already started planning our next trip. 😄 if anyone is willing to share what their favorite place to stay is, Disney or not, I would love to hear your input! Thanks😊
Goodbye Disneyland and California Adventure! *sniff sniff* We had a wonderful first visit. We promise to return soon! On to a few other California destinations. I have a feeling you will remain our favorite! 😢👋❤
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
