Just finished our 4 day 'I am finally 40 inches trip'. He has been waiting his whole life (3.5 years) to ride Radiator Racers and to see his dream come true was magical! We live in Canada so we only get to visit every year or two - I am so grateful to have this community who loves Disney as much as I do and can appreciate this experience with me :)

This was my first time to Carsland - I am blown away by the detail and magic!! I could spend a whole day here - too bad we only have 3! (Couldn't post from the park last night)

Love the picture. Thanks for sharing.  - chads018  704.9 #294 6:51AM

Wondering if anyone knows if the Frozen characters will be there at the end of the month for meet and greet?

I don't think they are going anywhere soon with a 120min wait on average  - DLKenCA  2917.1 #50 8:24AM
I hope they add Kristoff and Hans - GoofyMom77  1015.2 #195 8:39AM
I want them to add Hans so Anna can deck him lol I will totally go try out if they add the Duke of Weselton. "Like a chicken with the face of a monkey, I fly!" - BeatleMike  635.6 #338 8:48AM
You know what else would be cool? If Elsa could do some "cold powers" like maybe be able to do puffs of fog from her hands. Ooo, or she taps a button on the ground to make the illusion that she's causing the snowflakes to appear on the walls. - GoofyMom77  1015.2 #195 8:54AM
I really want my kids to meet them too but I'm not waiting that long! I'll wait until it's about a 30 min wait haha! - andersonsloveDLand  81.7 #4021 3:13PM
We were there thanksgiving week, and I was surprised that we had only a 20 minute wait!  Not sure if it makes a big difference, but we were there around 5:00. So, dinner time. That might make for a little shorter line. We never did do the Tangled meet and greet. I dont like long waits, either.   - MeridaFan  4244.2 #38 3:31PM
Won't happen more than likely. Even until tangled meet and greet closed, lines were 45+ minutes. And that was three years after the movie came out lol. The lines will stay long until there is another big disney success released. - missmimi90  2034.2 #86 3:34PM
I waited 20 min one day for tangled so I know it's possible!! Hehe - andersonsloveDLand  81.7 #4021 4:41PM

I was asked to share the Anaheim address I received from Disney for character requests so hopefully it helps anyone that is interested: As our Disney characters are very busy greeting park Guests, we ask that all requests for one (1) character fan card be submitted in writ  More...

Hi guys, I will have a couple questions about off season. We are going to be there from January 30-February 1 (Thursday-Sunday). First question is does WOC run every night in off season? Secondly, do they only do fireworks only on the weekend in off season? Third, does Fantasmic refurb every year at this time? How far in advance do they post refurbs and park hours for this time? Does anyone k  More...

Lets see if I can help. I believe WOC is nightly (8:15) but they may have some days where it's dark (not shown). Fireworks will only be on weekends at 9:30. Fantasmic refurb has happened the last two years I think. Again that show is dark during the week and shown on weekends. The refurb that would affect Fantasmic most is Mark Twain. I think they have their refurb list out 30-60 days in advance it it is always subjec to change. Park hours will probably be 10-8 during the week and 8-12 or 9-11 on weekends. Hope that helps! - IDVandalSkipperCM  2596.9 #59 7:34AM

Heading to Disney this morning at 4 am from Canada. Bringing my 3 month old, husband and autistic 22 year old brother in law--a first for all of them. It's going to be a blast! Hoping to see some of you in the park :)

If your brother in law has a hard time waiting in line go to city hall and ask for suggestions...they are very good at going the extra mile so that your trip can be magical!!! - MozPrincess  582.4 #373 11:39PM
Great tip!! City hall is great with helping people that need special accommodations to make sure their visit is magical! - Minnis2Society  369.9 #652 11:47PM

Where is the best place to watch World of Color from?

World of Color has a Fast Pass system. I suggest getting to DCA early to get a good section. Expect to wait up to an hour before they open the viewing areas for a good spot. If you find a place where you face the Mickey wheel center, you should have a great view. Since it's standing viewing, try to be behind a rail for a clear view, especially of you have little ones! There are also dining options that give reserved fast passes for the show but still expect to wait for a front location. - cynDOLEwhip  1175.7 #162 2:08AM
👆I would highly suggest ignoring this person. - cynDOLEwhip  1175.7 #162 2:14AM
Thanks for info--really excited to see this show! This is my first trip since they opened the World of Color. - missyandpaul  285.8 #1065 2:38AM
You'll love it! It's one of my absolute favorite things! Definitely take the time to get a good spot. Seeing this once from a good spot beats seeing it a hundred times from a mediocre one. We always send one person to grab some bread bowls or something from the Pacific Wharf area and some dessert so we can eat once we find our spots. Helps the time pass and no one leaves hungry! - cynDOLEwhip  1175.7 #162 2:57AM
Towards the back I believe is the best because you get the whole picture and the water shoots up tall enough you can see. It's amazing :) - BubbaLoo  870.6 #224 2:09AM
Very front against the railing in the middle.. you WILL get wet, possibly soaked, but WORTH IT! - LaTruce  2367.2 #69 2:07AM

I am bringing a 3 month old to Disney at the end of May. Which rides can I take him on in the Snugli or on my lap? I've got mixed answers from Disney so I would appreciate first hand experience. Thanks

Hi! I don't have a 3month old but my one year old was able to go on its a small world on my lap and pirates. :-) - MaliJollyDay  190.6 #2179 11:27PM
The rides that don't have height reqirements. Take an umbrella for shade and make sure you keep the baby cool. - Jimineycricket  197.8 #2087 11:29PM
Have all the shade gadgets :) planning on not being in the park at the hottest part of the day since we have 5 days there. Thanks :) - missyandpaul  285.8 #1065 11:33PM
Any attraction without a height restriction. Off the top of my head: It's a Small World, Alice in Wonderland,Astro Blasters, Casey Jr., Railroad, Finding nemo. Go to the disneyland website, find attractions, click any height on the side bar. That should tell you all the attractions - Starr  550.3 #399 11:30PM
Great. People don't always think about that. Have fun - Jimineycricket  197.8 #2087 11:43PM
