Usually by Day 3 I am begging not to walk or stand anymore but last time I tried something different and it worked great. I bought some Dr. Scholls memory foam inserts for my best supported running shoes and a really good pair of sandals. This reminds me of the time I was a little boy and I won a contest to visit the local Chocolate Factory and I really wanted my Grandpa Joe to come but he was old and lazy and was always in bed with my other Grandparents which still trips me out to this day. Well once I one the contest Lazy Grandpa Joe finally got out of bed and started dancing and signing and was fine within no time. As someone who loves Disneyland and only gets to go every 4plus years I really feel for the people that are arriving for vacation at this time expecting these rides. There is so much to do at Disneyland folks. These couple of closures aren't going to affect your visits oh so terribly. Would you rather be riding one of the Main Street vehicles and a wheel pop off like at Knotts. Or be stuck on a ride for three hours way up in the air, again at Knotts. Unfortunately, issues like this do happen. Many arriving guests will be upset due to 2 very popular rides being closed, but complaining wont make this situation move along any faster. I would rather support the Disney company in their efforts to make sure all safety issues are fixed rather than being afraid to ride the attraction due to the lack of safety. Just sit tight, guys. My now husband and I have always done a theme. It may not be matching but I may wear a Stars Wars shirt and he will wear BnL. (The future) When we got married I had a shirt made that announced my new last name and he loved it. But we usually have a minimal conversation about it. I wish they would update Autotopia to hybrid, electric or solar powered cars. I think it is great for kids to experience driving - I loved it as a kid! I would not miss the submarine ride but the water is pretty landscape!

There are two separate things to consider here... The lagoon is an icon at DL, even when the original attraction closed the lagoon stayed in view. It has historic value... at the time of opening Walt was a commander of one of the worlds largest fleet of submarines. Taking the lagoon out would be like removing the Matterhorn or castle. Unfortunately the Autopia does not afford the same status and iconic recognition! Although Disney might discover that taking the autopia out would be like taking an icon. We went at beginning of November. Crowds were very decent and manageable-weekdays were very light! Animal Kingdom was amazing. Do the safari first thing in the morning - the animals are awake and roaming. Everest is the best roller coaster in the parks in my opinion. Hollywood studios and animal kingdom were both fine for one day when we went but I wish we had spent more time at magic kingdom.. There's just so much to see! It also depends on what time of year you are going.. We went in September and it was not crowded so we got on all the rides without a wait. Also make sure to save a day for just relaxing by the pool and exploring downtown disney. We didn't do that and we really regretted it! Have fun! I'm jealous! - danicali43 12.0 #6357 2:13PM

Epcot and Animal Kingdom 2 days... We even spent a day visiting all the different resort hotels! Then spent the evening at downtown Disney . The parks close earlier than in calif . so you may have more free time in the eve to relax - carminaire 67.9 #3504 3:33PM
