***SWEETPIRATE_MONK*** Thank you so much for the earrings! My daughter's birthday is Thursday and she really wanted the purple ones, so perfect timing! I didn't expect the b/w ones too! Those are for me! These are awesome! I'll definitely be checking your shop out! Thank you again and Merry Christmas!
1 week & we will be at DL for Thanksgiving! It's our 1st Thanksgiving in the park. We've done Christmas & Halloween a couple times & loved it. Can't wait to spend another holiday there! Anyone else going to be at the parks over the holiday?
Question for CMs and AP holders...my husband and I have APs but our daughter doesn't. She's going with us at Thanksgiving and is paying for her own food and souvenirs. Can we use our AP discount for her? Or should we pay for everything and have her pay us back? Thanks!
Today at lunch while waiting for my husband to get our drinks I logged on to MW. As he got to the table he tells me I'm addicted. And proud of it, I said! I'm proud to be addicted to DL & MW and believe I'm in good company here!
I'm so lucky I have a husband that loves Disneyland as much as I do! He not only added a day to our trip at Thanksgiving, last night while at Mcd's with our niece & nephews there was a humming in the play place. He said that the humming reminded him of Space Mt. Glad I'm not the only one in the family with DL on the brain!
Just made reservations for Thanksgiving at DL! Can't believe we get to go again so soon! This trip will be a combination trip of DL & looking for a place to live! Can't wait till we can go to DL whenever we want! (It's a 15 hr drive for us now)
Indiana Jones exit. It was nice the week before Halloween season started because of the low crowds. We were able to get pics w/o people in them & see & do things we usually don't when the crowds are bigger.
Mainstreet buildings before the park opened. We got in 1/2 hr before the park opened for our tour & they let us take pictures while we waited to start. They were just starting to set up the Halloween decorations.
Sitting at the flagpole enjoying our last few moments of DL before we leave for another 6 months. We've had a great trip! Hopefully our next trip will be when we move down here! Can't wait till we can come to DL whenever we want!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
