We are thinking of flying down at the end of July. Because of the blackout dates, is the park any slower or does the fact it is summer holidays just make up for it. I would assume the latter but was just wondering if anyone could let me know. Thank you in advance.
As a Premium AP holder, I can honestly tell you that summer season Saturdays are noticeably less busy than other days of the week. "Less busy" doesn't translate into "not crowded," however. Saturdays are still busy, just not as packed as unblocked days. We've been on Saturdays and enjoyed our visits, and turned right back around and returned on Sundays, because our friends' passes were open on Sundays. There's a difference in crowd levels, for sure. - susieQzee  480.6 #245 3:19PM
I agree with this. During summer I LOVE Saturdays. Midweek is super crowded - MarshaMouse  2834.9 #15 3:31PM

When I joined this site, I was amazed by how great it was. Now I am being told that I can't discuss anything Disney related unless it is positive and makes everyone happy. Why can't I talk about all the good and the once in a blue moon bad. If there is anyone, that can relate to the story or problem, is that not a good thing.
NO COMPLAINING: There are a lot of places you can go to complain about Disney. MouseWait is not the place for this. - madsdad  1123.4 #73 7:01PM
I'm sure I too have had bad experiences at the parks. I honestly don't remember because every trip has so many amazing experiences that I couldn't dwell on the bad even if I wanted too. I know what it's like to have a child desperate to meet a specific character. It took us over 3 years and I have no clue for my oldest to meet her fave Daisy. The first time we were in line to ever ride RSR someone posted a pic if her in Toontown. We got out of line and ran and all the way there only to find she was gone. My daughter was heartbroken..,for all of about 30 seconds because she was still at DL. I was sad for her, but chose to focus on the TONS if calories we burned on our search. Try and focus on the amazing time you got to spend bonding with your family and enjoying the magic if Disney and that one little incident will not matter at all anymore. - RCmom  2588.5 #20 7:19PM
I agree totally and like I told my wife. I wouldn't have cared at all if it was just Jack but the fact we would have also met Sally if this girl hadn't let us in front of her after she was talking to the CM running the meet and greet is what got me going. - Henny  9.7 #6840 7:25PM
"sighhhh" this is making me frown Henny and I have enough wrinkles. - DisneyGrandma  336.9 #440 7:46PM

Thanks Henny! I don't believe in getting Botox. Lol...you saved me buddy! - DisneyGrandma  336.9 #440 7:55PM
Hi Henny! Maybe I can help and be an encouragement. When I first joined MW, I didn't read all of the rules and I felt as if I was being bullied and attacked by many. I realized that ultimately everyone just wanted to have a positive experience on here but sometimes the tongues could be sharp (including my own in my responses to those I felt were attacking me). I am sure that all of us would love to have you as part of this happy (maybe dysfunctional (LOL)) family. With that being said, I am truly sorry you had an unpleasant experience at Disneyland. I think most of us can relate. Ultimately, I know that the good experiences will FAR outweigh the bad. Hope you have a good night and don't let this get you down. We're here to maybe help you smile! Lots of Disney love to you and your family!!! - DisneyDavidEMT  446.9 #275 8:11PM

So we just got back this week from our trip to Disney. Great trip but I had my first real issue with any of our trips this time. We had tickets to the MHP which really excited my youngest because Nightmare before Christmas is her favorite money of all time. Meeting Jack and Sally was the greatest thing for her. Anyway, we stood in line for over an hour and the whole time we listened to this girl a  More...

23 hours til our flights leaves for Anaheim. We are attending the MHP on Monday and was wondering... Are all the rides still running? Is it worth it to stand in line for mounds of candy? Or .... Are there so many characters that you normally don't see, that seeing them must be the priority? Thank you for any suggestions or tips you can think of. Much appreciated.
If you're asking if all the rides still run? Yes but there are some that are down for refurbishment, if you go to hours on main dash board, there's a list of them. Candy is out all night so don't feel rush to get it, any way they give more towards end of night any way - MarshaMouse  2834.9 #15 7:37AM
Thank you - Henny  9.7 #6840 8:05AM
The lines for candy are long when the party stars but they do move quickly. Take advantage of the rides, food and character meets first, then hit the candy lines when the lines get shorter. - Gia  782.1 #119 8:51AM

Hi all, I have a question and I'm hoping some has the answer. We are flying down for Halloween and the first week of November. I looked at the schedule online for the park and noticed that Fantasmic was not scheduled for anytime in November. Is this true? Thank you in advance.
Tink is wearing the same dress she had on the night before... hmmm. - tuesday737  1076.5 #78 9:10AM
She had rough night at the bars. lol! - elayne  112.4 #2860 9:19AM
Awkward... - KissDclown  1088.1 #77 9:45AM
I think Fantasmic is only a summer show. Go to Disneyland website find their contact number. They will let you know if it's not showing or times haven't been schedule yet. - elayne  112.4 #2860 9:08AM
Everyone said it very well already, however, it is only Sept. 29th and I think the Disney Schedual is only done for a month at a time. So it may still be going on durring your trip just not on the schedual yet. - Donaldfan_532  226.0 #1289 9:26AM
Yea, we watch it in December so it's not just during the summer. The earliest I can make reservations for it is 30 days to the day and they are strict on that so I bet the schedule is not out yet. - Fanatic4Disney  257.9 #926 9:31AM

He can't image how my kids could possibly continually want to come back and he think I am just wasting money on Corporate America, AKA... Disney. Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect the weather to be like at the park at the end of October, early November? We are coming down with 13 people, many first timers and was wondering what kinds of clothes we should pack? Thanks in advance.
It actually tends to be a beautiful time of year to visit. For the most part I would expect cooler conditions with a breeze and slightly warmer afternoons. Definitely pack a sweater, you might want to being a rain coat too- we've been in a couple of mid-fall Disney downpours that left you soaked through and shivering. I always recommend packing extra socks too, even if it doesn't rain they are handy to have after a trip down GRR. Have a magical trip! - makingmemories  162.7 #2116 4:27PM
I'd pack jeans and tee shirts. Bring a sweater for evening/night time. It will cool down. Hope this helps. Have a fantastic time! - Mrs.mouse  420.4 #306 4:03PM

Flying into Disneyland with the kids for the first time at Halloween. If I could ask a few questions to all the Disney pros here at mousewait. We bought tickets to Mickey Halloween party and I was wondering how many places gave candy (trick or treat style)? Because of the trick or treating, are the lines for rides shorter? What are the must sees at Halloween? We will be there from Oct.28th to No  More...
If its the same as last year, there were about 14 treat trails in the park where guests can visit. Since it is a special event, the attendance has a cap unlike on a regular day. The lines are shorter, but some attractions may be closed. - BaseballMickey_CM  2819.3 #16 6:12PM

Yes, it will be closed Sept 4 through Dec 8. - BELLEisima  295.0 #638 7:23AM
