Hope you find some amazing ppl up there! Just came from a trip to SF/San Jose area this past weekend and loved it! Everyone in the area is so friendly and more relaxed compared to LA. Crossing fingers you find some fellow Disnerds up there! :) (Btw - Ariel's a hero of mine too!)

resort takes the safety of our guest and CMs VERY seriously. It is the NUMBER
ONE key that all cast members learn and is a part of everything we do. We are
well trained and rehearsed on what to do in an seismic event. We know where the
closest "safe heaven" is for guest and meeting places for CMs. We know how to
evacuate our attraction and which route to use to safely get to a meeting place.
We can not work an attraction until this information is learned and we pass a test
proving our knowledge. We are updated and retest periodically. Rest assured, the
DLR is where I would want to be in an earthquake. - BalooTBear

We were there for the Landers/Big Bear quakes in the early 90s. The park opened as usual but the crowds were small. Also the attractions opened as they finished inspecting them. The quake was early in the morning so no one was on anything at the time both quakes hit. - Diznimom
