Had lunch today with my Dad at Storytellers---a lunch spot my Mom and I would come to 3 or 4 times a month the last year or so. It was a great lunch, and I'm so happy he wanted to keep up something I enjoyed doing so much with Mom. ❤️
🍀Ahh, I want to go to this so badly!! 🍀 But our passes won't qualify. If anyone does and has room, 2 would love to be included (yes I'm begging😏) An after hours Saint Patricks day event just seems like something I can't miss! 😄🍀🍀
*happy sigh* This is sure to bring magical dreams before we head back home tomorrow. I feel very blessed for the wonderful day we have had today. While there have been some really hard moments remembering the times we spent in the parks with Mom and missing her so much, there have also been tender, sweet and happy moments too, and in those moments I know we are going to be ok. We are blessed in so More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
