It had been icky and rainy all day, and Abbey's dad and I wanted to relive our Star Tours experience from Monday's soft opening. What better way than to watch SW episodes 4-6? Abbey (age 6 & 3/4) is officially hooked! How old were you when you saw Star Wars for the first time?
I need MW's help! Is Magic Morning worth it? What time is it mid-week on July? We are not morning people, bit if is a mist do, then we will get the park hopper, go, and then upgrade to an AP. Just not sure it is worth getting up so early, and then dealing with upgrading, whereas we could just get the AP on the first day and go. You guys are the experts, help!
HoJo just posted a ton of 50% off dates...naturally not the ones I need in July, but I hope this helps someone! http://www.hojoanaheim.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14&sid=61e2c9e703fbc0049b3d2ea3c427209d
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
