The Disney Saving Mr Banks FB Page posted another featurette. At first I wasn't sure about the movie but I'm getting more excited with each preview. Hope they show it at the El Capitan -- it would B so magical ✨ https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10100165020240044

Don't know if anyone else has posted info but I just came across this and -- in case not, thot I'd share right away. Hallmark is offering a Disney Wireless Band this year: Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy. Each character plays a different instrument and they all play 2 songs -- solo or in conjunction with each other. So cool! Here's a link to a quick video ✨
There's so much in store for us this Holiday season! Here's a link to a list of everything we have to look forward to ✨

Just got a tweet from DisneyParks about more social media celebs showing off their #DisneySide from DisneyParks. Here's a link to "When You Wish Upon a Star" performed by the a Capella sensation Mike Tompkins, filmed at the Disneyland Resort! All of music including the backgrounds, are all produced -- literally! -- by him. Amazing, I think ✨
Also, I'd been so busy posting images from Saturday that I hadn't noticed that I made it to the 100 mark! Whoo hoo!! 🎉 So . . . THANK YOU, thank U very much MouseWait for a wonderful app and community -- both virtual and real! 💖
Here's the gang from Toy Story! In the bottom right ornament -- thought it was so clever that Woody and Buzz, are in proportion to Andy's mouse ears hat! Think they're all great but I especially love Rex who's wearing ears and enjoying a Mickey ice cream bar 💖
Groundbreaking for the Temple of the Forbidden Eye occurred in August 1993. More than 400 Imagineers worked on its design and construction. Tony Baxter led a core project team of nearly 100 Imagineers.
Several early concepts were considered for Indy including a walk-through adventure and a high-speed mine car adventure within a temple. To avoid a long queue, Imagineers even considered using Jungle Cruise launches to shuttle guests to the loading area. The team tested key show elements in a Burbank warehouse on a full-sized elevated track that resembled a freeway. This enabled the team to test set pieces, lighting, effects, transport clearances and motion profiles.
To create space for the 0.5-mile queue area and the 50,000-square-foot show building, an area of the former "Eeyore" parking lot was demolished, and the Monorail and Jungle Cruise attractions were rerouted. As I'm sure some of you know, an old Eeyore parking sign is hidden up in the rafters high above the projection room (in the queue). The sign pays homage to the Eeyore Parking Lot.
To watch some scenes from the opening ceremony:
Happy 19th birthday Indy!
Have you been on this attraction? If so, what is your favorite part or scene?
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a magnificent Monday!
