You need to renew so that the new baby can experience the 60th anniversary! Even though your daughter has asked for and wanted a sibling, this will still get to be her special place that she gets to experience in a new and different way :)
Who gets one and regrets it?😊 - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  4459.7 #21 10:58PM
Said no one.  - mckelfam  28.9 #5424 11:03PM
Would never regret it,, but we have neglected a lot this year to be able to go to disneyland, just thinking maybe we should be responsible.. Annnnnnnd I started a new job and have zero leave 😞 but I want to be irresponsible sooo bad - amyb1076  358.5 #574 11:04PM
πŸ˜‚ my sister probably would, but she's a whole different breed, lol - Spoonful_O_Sugar  549.4 #323 11:09PM
When ours expired last January, we waited until April to renew.  Worked out perfectly with the tax refund!  :) - DisneyPiratePrincess  124.0 #2990 11:41AM
I think that's a great idea but we are going in jan so it seems like a waste if we don't renew and then go back a few months later..  - amyb1076  358.5 #574 10:28PM
Only you know your situation--just remember that even if you don't renew immediately, you can always get passes when you're ready 😊 We've had them off and on for 8 years now, and have gone over a year between visits--it's very special to get to return after an extended break, too.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  549.4 #323 11:08PM
That's very true, I think we just got spoiled this year, it was such a great feeling knowing we could go whenever we wanted for as long as we wanted... But I know it would be just as special to go once a year too.. Either way we are blessed that we even get the opportunity.  - amyb1076  358.5 #574 11:11PM
Yes, it's a wonderful feeling!  It feels so decadent!  Good luck with the tough decision πŸ€ - Spoonful_O_Sugar  549.4 #323 11:19PM
Yup! While it is great to have passes, it is even better to have passes that don't involve moving other things around (money wise).  That way it makes it more enjoyable.  Take your time!  Either way, you will be back in the parks, so taking a few months ( or a year) off might be nice, so next time it is worry free! - Thumper13  426.8 #447 11:25PM

The sarcastic remark: because we really need it.Idk the real reason but it's supposed to rain from sat-tues or weds in norcal so some type of system.
Fun story:  I track the weather for weeks before my trips, and they were calling for rain so I ordered two new pairs of rain boots that would be lighter in my luggage than my regular ones, thereby having to explain to my husband why I spent so much on rain boots. Then the forecast changed to little rain so I did not pack said rain boots. When the forecast changed to lots of rain I found myself here in Vegas with no rainboots for next week, which put be in a predicament of whether to order yet another pair, and justifying that, or walking around with soggy feet. Luckily, my husband fed-exed me my boots today, understanding that his wife is a moron for ordering new light boots but not packing them.  That and he probably figured that shipping them to me was cheaper than a new pair of boots.  No real point to the story, but at least I will be ready for the rain! - Thumper13  426.8 #447 11:53PM

Waters, snacks, a blanket if you are going to parades/shows, sunscreen, sweatshirt, change of clothes (I could have easily had 3 wardrobe changes today because of all of the different stages +water rides), change of shoes, portable phone charger and various cords, camera (taking photos on a cell can drain battery faster), variations of money/gift cards, Advil/Tylenol and patience.
Welcome to mousewait. All these suggestions are good. Just read 2 adults and 2 teens from 8 a.m. to midnight. You will need redbull 5 hour energy. Starbucks. Churro corn dogs and lots of patience - grumpyinphx  178.3 #2151 8:40AM

My best friend was in a similar situation with her almost 2 yr old twins. She first tested them with costumed characters to see how they did--one was good and one was not so good. She then took them to a place with rides so she could see how they would do. Again, one was good and one was not so good until he saw how much fun his sister was having. So if you are unsure, perhaps try her one of those  More...

Well she is free until age 3 so if this is something that will occur prior to her birthday, there's that to consider. I hope someone with children that age can assist you further. - missmimi90  1538.9 #87 6:16PM
We took both our girls before they were two. Just be prepared to do things at a slower pace than if it were just you two. Get there early, when park opens and hit Fantasyland. Familiarize yourself with the Baby Center on Main Street. It's a great place to change a diaper with a little more privacy than a restroom gives. Enjoy rides like its a Small World, Pirates and even the Haunted Mansion. She should be too young to be scared of the Haunted Mansion, and should enjoy the boat rides. Bring snacks, change of clothes, and head back to your room early or find a quiet place if your baby can nap in her stroller. Have fun!! Β And make sure to get her a First visit button at City Hall! - MeridaFan  3429.7 #29 6:05PM
If anything, think how special it will be to have pics of her at that age at DL :)  She will love looking at then when she's older.   We have a great one of my husband at about 3 years and his grandpa (who sadly passed when my husband was a teen), and Brer Bear, who ruffled his grandpa's hair in the pic, lol.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  549.4 #323 10:30PM
Is there an option to bring the in-laws or at least one? Β Personally, I would love the flexibility to enjoy a little one to one Disney time with my wife, especially if going to be a similar 3 year wait until the next...... File for unemployment right away. Processing times are quick right now.
