Guys if you could send some pixie dust my way, just started taking prozac to see if that helps my anxiety a bit, had a though time yesterday at the parks, oh well thanks guys.

What I do is try and focus on something and breathe. When I'm at the parks and I feel it coming on I'll focus on my son and make him laugh or just see how much he's enjoying himself. Or sit down at a table and close your eyes and breathe and tell yourself "mind over matter" and just sit there and people watch and before you know it you'll smile at a family passing by or giggling cuz a lil one said or did something funny. Having this isn't easy, it's a hard thing to deal with and many cant understand what you're going through. I suffered from horrible panic attacks but I found a way to help myself and you will too! - dumbbunny 191.1 #1776 5:22PM

This is great advice! And what would be my best advice, being a panic "sufferer" for many years now. Find a breathing count that works for you. I find that IN 1-2-3-4, OUT 5-6-7-8-9-10 works great for me! It might take a little time to get it down. And distraction is key too. Jut remember, it can't hurt you! You'll conquer it soon enough!! I bring my ear buds and listen to music on my phone or play on my phone when in line. There are great benches in DL by the first aid and Plaza Inn where the CM's entrance is and over by Muppet Theater in DCA. I go there for some quiet time. My husband is GREAT at distracting me so I'm very fortunate that he can help calm me down and keep me from going somewhere that might be overwhelming for me.
