My family and I went to a character bfast and my little sister (she's 3) was extremely terrified of Rafiki. She was on the verge of tears every time he would enter the room our table was in... So I pointed out he has a purple bottom and that made her laugh and she ended up giving him a huge hug. All that being said I would suggest finding something silly about some of the creepy looking characters so your little one realizes they are goofy not all creepy. I would also suggest meeting the characters that don't have to wear suits (aladdin, the princesses, etc) as they can be less intimidating because they look like us. I hope he gets over his fear!! - snowiegirl

For my son it was the beast. My son was getting captain hooks autograph when the beast came up behind him. My son took one look at that giant foot planted next to him and took off running. He was out of there so fast. I had to go back for his autograph book. He was around 4 or 5. It took him little while before he was brave enough to get close to a character but he did. Good ole pooh and friends helped with that. He laughs about it now. - Eraf61

It was expensive, but I bought a Mophie case for my iPhone. It's a case with a backup battery inside! It's amazing and really helps me out at Disneyland. :) Worth the money to me, especially since I use my phone to take/post photos, which takes a lot of juice! - BreadAndButterfly
