There have been one thing that's on my nerves. Even though I am not a music major nor am into performance, I have wanting to play for Disney-themed weddings, or to entertain others. The last time that I played the piano at the Coke Corner was 8+ yrs ago. Haven't been there since that last time. I could be wrong, but I think if you asked a cm at the grand, they would let you play there. Also, there is the piano in innoventions. I've played it many times. Not very successfully though, since I never bring sheet music with me. I know it's not the same as playing at coke corner, but if you want to play disney music around people who appreciate disney, that's where I'd start. And who knows? Maybe one of the wedding planners will overhear you at the grand. - LittleAprilShowers

I played both at Innoventions and Coke. When I went to Innoventions during that same trip, some CMs were surprised that I knew A LOT of songs, including the ones that I listed, but played wrong chords that didn't mix well with the melody. - dizneypianist 31.8 #4374 11:58PM
Hopefully one will, but it's up to fate. I can play A LOT more. I have tons of Disney songs memorized and would like to play at the Grand and Coke Corner, but I don't know when the next time I'll be able to go to SoCal and enjoy, since my family doesn't "get it" at all. My family got over it after going there 15+ times, since it's MUCH closer than WDW is. - dizneypianist

Today, this really nice CM at the Disney Store in San Jose, CA, in Westfield Oakridge gave my girlfriend and I the chance to preview Maleficuent from the new Disney Villains Designer Collector's Set. It was really pretty and I really want one right now

Beach Boys 50th Reunion Concert was fun, especially the ones that were in the old Paradise Pier loop. Did anyone go to their concert this weekend?
We went to both concerts, Saturday and Sunday. Such fun! I shared about MW with the people sitting next to me, and they shared with me about Brian Wilson's Disney album. I downloaded it, and I am enjoying it greatly! - teach67

Good morning all, I have one question for you all! Does anyone miss the old iconic Main Street USA Background music that you walk in to? It has more upbeat/jazz music and makes me feel that I'm there. The newer one doesn't bring that emotion to me. Same goes for the new music in Paradise Pier that replaced the many Beach Boys-induced songs. These newer loops don't bring the original feeling back
