I have a huge question, and figured I would come to mouse wait for answers. I just realized that my annual passes expire today, I would like to renew but don't want to pay the down payment. Do I have to renew online tonight to avoid down payment or is there a grace period? Please help this is the first renewal we have done.

I'm not sure about any grace periods but here's what the FAQ states : NO DOWN PAYMENT – if you renew your pass before it expires, you don’t have to pay the $75 down payment with the new payment plan option! You also still get a discount for renewing before your expiration date (on Premium and Deluxe only you save $20).

Say your pass expired feb 1. If you renew tomorrow w/o a down payment your pass will expire feb 1 2014. If you pay a down payment it will expire the first day you use your pass. I've only renewed passes in park though not online. Like others said I believe you have 30 days to renew but w/o a down payment your renewal date is your expiration date. Hope this makes sense. - Nicole

I renewed mine 5 days after they expired and didn't have to pay down payment and they still gave me the $20 off. The only thing is charge your first month like a week after you renew. The cm had told me this when I was renewing. also your pass will
still have your original expiration date. I just renewed like two weeks ago so nothing hopefully has changed. Hope this helped. - stevesdisneyprincess

Is there a certain location I would look to find out if there is any special days in the park? Last time we were at the park it was dapper day's, but have no idea how to find out what events are in the near future. Our family is going to the happiest place on earth next weekend and would love to plan ahead, as we are coming down from The Sacramento area.

you can google "disneyland days" and some stuff comes up... as far as i know "gay days" are the weekend of oct5-7... you can also find some info about certain ones on the disneyland site. but they usually mention the bigger ones. there's also a rockabilly day but that's in the spring i believe. - joybells

I just can't say enough how totally awesome dl parks and especially cm's are my daughters bday yesterday was awesome but she left her purse on Indiana jones and afters checking lost and found yesterday they called today they found it not one thing missing not even her 40 in bday money thank you for making an awesome weekend even better!!!!
